I fell in love with this necklace right out the box. I wear this necklace daily and rarely take it off. It is very durable and has just the right weight, it's very fiminine with a beautiful 14k brilliance. The picture makes it appear very big and brash but it's not. It's just the right size to wear with a pendant or alone. It's the perfect length for me and I am very excited about finding just the right pendant to enhance my new necklace. Thanks O!!
Normally wouldn't bother to write a review, but the necklace was especially striking the minute I opened the box. Very shiny, unique-looking designed and detailed chain. I agree that the chain seemed shorter than 18 inch chains usually hang on me, but I measured it and it was exactly 18 inches from the very tip of the clasp to the very tip of the other end. I'm not sure if that's how chains are typically measured but it hangs like a 17 inch would normally hang on my neck.
I just got this necklace today.. And of course, I was excited just to be DISAPPOINTED later...The necklace looks nice and all EXCEPT that it came "2 INCHES SHORT." So, I'm giving this just 1 star... I'm working on getting it replaced with the correct length..
I love the chain, but could not fasten it myself. I had it changed to another type by the local jewelry store. The clasp cost was 14k gold so I did'nt mind paying. I will consider clasp's before buying again.
