I wore my locket for almost three weeks. When I took it off I noticed that the backside of the heart had already worn off on the bottom and so had the chain. I found it very disappointing and I am glad I didn't give it as a present.

It was so cute, i just wished it was bigger than it would be great. Its very beautiful & my very 1st locket. It closes & open nicely. Now i all need to do is add the pictures in it without it being smush and it will be perfect..It very small like bigger than a dime but smaller than a nickle =]

Beautiful locket, looks very fine/classy. Tricolor gold is unique, 3-dimensional design adds interest. Black Hills gold is gold over sterling with the tri-color being gold, the piece is not 12 caret as the description implies. Still s good value for the money, and my Valentine loved it!

I have waited a long time to buy a Black Hills Gold locket. I am a senior and have never had a locket in my entire life! Don't you think it is time I get one? So I did!I have had my eye on this particular one for a long time, and I wanted it in gold since I have alot of Black Hills sterling silver (which I also love).Now I am working on putting a couple pictures in it.I recommend this to everyone who wants a locket for loved ones or ones self. Go for it!

The locket is beautiful and generously sized. It's about the size of a nickel. The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the chain isn't really the same color as the locket. The locket is a bright, yellow gold and the chain is more of an orange gold. Since Black Hills Gold by definition includes several shades of gold this isn't really a big deal. Overall, this is a very pretty piece and seems to be well made.

I bought this as a Mother's Day present for my Mom and Mother-in-law. They both loved them! It was an excellent value for the price! The Black Hills Gold has beautiful, vibrant colors and looks very classy! The price was extremely reasonable.
