10k Yellow Gold Garnet and Diamond Ring

Ex girlffriend still has the ring. She loved it for a gift.

I ordered this to replace another birthstone ring I ordered that was lost in the mail. I am looking for a new gemstone wedding set, and this was my 3rd order and all of them have been returned. Unfortunately this ring will meet the same fate. The ring is so-so...the garnet looks dull and you can barely see the diamonds. Also, the rings look thin and week. I will quit while I'm ahead and stick with my current wedding set. I love Overstock for everything else, but it looks like their non-worldstock jewelry doesn't make the cut.

This ring is subtle and classy. I typically don't care for garnets but this is very pretty and doesn't have that brown-ish hue. I'm not wild about the checkerboard texture on the garnet, although I love the small diamonds surrounding.

I am very pleased with this ring. It was as described and was shipped as promised. I believe it was worth every penny. My wife adores it.
