Purchased the ring as a gift. Not sure what the recepiant's review is .. But I loved the way the ring looked. Inside and out were verry pretty. Wish it came in a 14k gold.

I am enjoying my ring very much. It brings a smile to my face when I see the little footprints on my hand, and think about what it represents. Also, the inscription inside the ring is dark lettering that is very clear and easy to read. I would definitely recommend this ring to anyone who is looking for a simple, delicate gold ring.

I was so pleased when I found this ring on the Overstock.com web site. I owned one several years ago unfortunately I lost it and could not find another until I decided to search on Overstock.com. I ordered the ring large enough to wear on my right thumb. It is a perfect fit. Not too tight, so it won't leave an indentation on my finger, but snug enough so I won't lose it. I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. I am considering a second ring for my left thumb.

I actually had to purchase this ring twice! I was more satisfied with the first purchase because the words were actually black and easier to see/read (after gaining weight, it no longer fit). The second purchase was equally as sturdy and beautiful but I prefer the black over the lettering. I wear it as a commitment ring. It reminds me daily of my commitment to Christ and His commitment to me!

In 2006 I had a major car wreck. When I saw the car it was totaled, but I noticed the spot where I was was like a little protected cubby hole. When my family finally got to see me they said I commented that the lord had me in the palm of his hands to protect me. When I read this poem at the point where it says it was then I carried you, it reminds me of my safe little cubby hole HE provided for me.

I probably would not have ordered this without reading all the other reviews.....so glad I did. Purchased as a thumb ring....the etching of the little footprints really fancys it up! Very nice quality ring. Would also make a nice pinky ring but I'd wear it on any finger.

Like everyone else has said, it's really a lovely little ring. The writing on the inside is actually black. I bought the wrong size, had to get a smaller but one of the letters was missing from the writing so Overstock replaced it for free with free shipping of the new ring. It came quickly & I love the ring. I got a seven to wear it on my middle finger but I should've gotten an 8. It fits on my ring finger so it's still fine. Measure your finger first in a jewelry store, not on the Overstock website with that measurement tool that they provide, it doesn't work.

I purchased this for my preteen daughter as a confirmation gift. It has more "heft" than it appears from the picture. It looks beautiful on her and without looking like a wedding band. The little feet are adorable and she has shown it to all her friends. She loved the inscription. I have already recommended this ring to others.

I love the footprints poem and always wanted it on a piece of jewerly, however had only saw it on sterling silver, for a reseasonable price. When i saw this ring in gold was very happy. Received it and just adore it, am thinking of ordering more for family members, know they would love it as much as i do.
