I wanted the item as a gift and would seek getting it again some day if it ever comes back in stock. I had trouble locating children's jewlery that didn't look cheap, but when I was directed to overstock, I was really pleased with the selection and the product that I purchased as well as how it was packeged was perfect.

The band of this ring is 1mm at the bottom which is thin. For the money, even on sale, it's not a great bargin. Am going to send mine back and look for a smaller size that is a little more substancial for the money. The concept is pretty. I think for a small child, I'd be afraid of them catching it on something and because it's so thin, it could harm them. If you are looking for a 1st knuckle ring, which is what I was looking for; the size is too large.
