This is truly a beautiful stone. The color is vivid and deep, the cut is brilliant and the size appears larger than I expected. I was quite surprised when it arrived as it is more impressive in person than on the screen! Yes the chain is delicate, but the amethyst itself is an exceptional value. I had this delivered to my office and opened it there, I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and value that I showed it to my co-workers - everyone was impressed with it! It was a Christmas gift for my step daughter and she loved it!
