Worth buying for the setting alone
Why complain about a demonstration chain when you get a deal like this! This is a steal compared to retail! My jeweler popped out the peridot and replaced it with an oval gem stone I've wanted set for a long time, and agreed I could not find a better setting at a lower price. Now I have a beautiful pendant plus a nicely cut peridot for future use.

Excellent value
Overall I am very happy with it and so is my wife. I gave it to her as a "push present" which is why I chose the August birthstone. We swapped out the chain with a thicker one we had, I don't know how long the other one would have lasted especially with a newborn squirming around. The stone is quite large and the accent diamonds fit nicely. It was only shipped in a plain cardboard jewelry box with a foam insert and the necklace in a little plastic baggy, nothing glamorous but gets the job done. Again I am happy with my purchase from Overstock, good quality, great price, and quick shipping.

The stone was nice, however, the chain was very thin and cheap. Very disappointed in the chain. Had to go buy a better chain for the pendent.
