10k White Gold Oval Garnet Ring

1. The stone(s): The garnet stone in this ring is beautiful. In the website photo it looks a bit brown, but in real life it's deep red/vibrant red depending on lighting, and absolutely no brown. Love it. The stone is also the right size for me, I did not want a something large that would compete in any way with the engagement ring. The accent diamonds are so small, they are practically invisible. 2. The ring: The design of the ring is delicate and original -- I like the asymmetry, it was the selling point for me. The only minus is, the band is so thin it looks literally wiry, which does not quite come across from the website picture. It does not bother me much (my knuckles are on the small side to the extreme), but I don't think this ring would look right on everyone. Think teenager/youth -- dainty, delicate fingers type. I was very happy with this ring. It is small and delicate. It fits my hand proportions very well. I thought it was well represented by the website. It seems to be a very good quality for the price. I would recommend this ring to others.

I got this ring for my 25 yr. old daughter for a Christmas gift. She liked the garnet ring I got when I was in Europe BUT said the stone was a "little big" for her taste. When I saw this online I thought she might like it. The ring is very nice and well made BUT to me the stone seems a "bit small"---we will see what she says on the 25th!

I was very pleased with the ring's appearance, however, the stone seemed smaller than the one pictured. Overall I am very satisfied with the ring and have received many compliments on the ring.
