the necklace was a gift for my girlfriend to replace one that looked just like it that was stolen. the picture looked exactly right so i ordered. when i got the necklace there was a loop that was part of the star charm for the chain. that loop was not on the necklace that was stolen and also was not on the picture when i was trying to decide which necklace was most appropriate. also the chain was very cheap. within 8 hours of giving the necklace to my girlfriend, who put it on right away, the chain broke. she didnt play with it or handle it rough. it just broke.

Dark stones, not sturdy, diamonds cracked within and week. Chain is also very weak and snapped. Returned...Horrible, horrible necklace...I bought it because of the outstanding reviews. I now think they reviewed too soon and didn't actually wear it long. I doubt it was just the "lemon" in the bunch!

As you can see in the picture the chain goes through the star making it look thicker that what it is. Mine had a loop on the top that the chain wnet through. The star is very thin and the over all size is much smaller that what the picture shows. The picture on over stock. with the ruler by it shows it bing over 3/4" tall. Reality is that it is only 1/2" tall. It is very thin also. NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!

The necklace it comes on is thread thin, my daughter rode a rollercoaster and it broke. She lost the whole thing now I have got to replace it, needless to say it will not be this one.
