Bought this a while ago. Lovely replacement chain. Can be used for heavier pendants too. Bought it at half the price a while ago. Just had to buy another one coz I yanked it off with my clothes by mistake!

This chain was a little thinner than I was expecting even though I looked at the dimensions and was trying to picture it. I got this chain as a replacement for a different box chain I had that my two year old son broke. I'm not exactly the most delicate person in the world, and Lord knows a two year old isn't, but so far it's held up to him yanking on it a time or two (which I wish he'd stop). I have a pendant on it that I had made out of an earring my husband got me... that I lost the mate to on our first anniversary. It looks nice. If you're expecting something superthick and durable looking, I'd pick a different chain, but if you want something more feminine and soft, I'd pick this (but it is more durable than it loooks). Overall I'm rather happy with it. This isn't the first time I've ordered from here and it probaly won't be the last. P.S. The shipping has always been fast when I've ordered, which was awesome.

It is hard to find such a nice white gold chain for such a reasonable price

a pretty chain re linkage but it was so thin as to be non existant! that controlled display items I might wish to use and I kept it because of chain need but would be happier if chain were thicker.

I bought this chain to put a small pendant on. It is very sparkly and dainty but has held up well so far. I wear it constantly, through exercise, swimming, etc and it has not broken. It has even been tugged on by a few little ones. I would purchase this chain again.

I get compliments on the necklace all the time. It is sparkly and looks very elegant. I bought this as a replacement chain and wear it with a diamond pendant. They look elegant together. It is thin and falls about an inch below my collar bone.

I purchased this chain as a gift for my sister. She loves it! Although delicate, it is sturdy enough for her medium-sized pendants and she wears it every day. It looks lovely.

Chain is thin but box chain is stronger than you might expect from how it looks. I am pleased that it looks delicate and beautiful, but can withstand my periodic pulls when it gets caught in my hair brush...

This necklace was just what I was looking for. I wanted a dainty pretty necklace that I could wear everyday and this necklace is it. I liked so much, I also ordered the 20inch to wear them layered together. I love this necklace and would highly recommend and would buy again. Thank you overstock!!

So pleased with this chain. First of all, I had purchased a wheat chain from a national jewelry retailer. That chain was beautiful but kinked the minute I put it on. Took it back and asked for a box chain. The box chains in the 6mm range were in the ***, and that was with a spring clasp. I was concerned that this chain would be fragile as some have said. Yes, it is delicate looking, but I've slightly tugged on it and it seems strong. Wore it all last night with a pendant I had purchased and it is beautiful! Exactly what I had been searching for and I'm about to buy the 20" chain so I can stack them. I I have another chain which tangles in my hair as others have mentioned. This one does not. I have very long hair, but it is fine and wavy, so perhaps if you have another texture it would catch easily.

While it is a god looking chain, it is constantly getting tangled in my hair. I have never had this issue before! I would not recommend this chain for anyone with hair that would reach it!

At least half the price I would have paid at discount store or department store. And ordering from Overstock is easier. This looks better than a necklace I bought a few years ago for more than twice the price. The length is short enough is doesn't hang down/have any slack to snag with my fingers. I wear it 24/7. It is comfortable and I needed a necklace that didn't snag my long hair. It is perfect.

The chain is definately very dainty and thin however, it is absolutely stronger than the chain that came with a $1000.00 pendant my husband bought me. I trust the strength of this chain because it is the box cut which basically has 4 sides to it. I just wish these chains came with lobster claws and not the circle link as they tend to be weak.

The necklace is very nice quality but it is very dainty! It is much too thin to wear withourt a pendant. The price was right amd it is replacing a tin curb chain so it works for me.
