Getting what you want for Christmas can be a challenge for two reasons. It's hard to let people know exactly what you want without sounding like you've put all your thought into gifts you're getting, rather than gifts you're giving. And it's hard to communicate to some people that you want a particular sweater, not just any sweater. Overstock.com has implemented two ingenious ways to help you get the gifts you want and still be on Santa's nice list. These solutions work in reverse, too. Use these tools and be touted as the best gift-giver in the family.
Solution One: Gift Cards
Gift cards are always the right color, always the right size and couldn't be easier to exchange. Overstock.com has several versions of the classic gift card, so you can give the one that best fits the needs of your giftee. Choose a traditional gift card if you'd like a physical card delivered, in a gift envelope, to the recipient. An e-gift card is the perfect choice if you plan to e-mail it to someone or to print it out yourself to present in person. None of our gift cards expire, and any unused balance will be stored in your account for use on future purchases.
Solution Two: Wish Lists
If a gift card isn't your speed, there's still a way to make sure you let people know exactly what you want. Overstock.com has created a wish-list function so you can add anything you see onsite to an online list. Simply sign up, browse the site, add items as you go, and send your list to loved ones so they know exactly how to tickle your fancy. Or, if you're looking for a gift for someone and aren't feeling creative, check out their list. You'll just need to know their email address to look it up. Choose something directly from it, or use the listed items for inspiration.
I've created my wish list. What's on yours?

I have some ridiculously expensive things on my wish list right now. I may need to make it a little more realistic before I share it with my friends and family.
This wish list of ideas is what I was looking for! Thanks from Caral Amoblamientos, Argentina.
Especially during theses times.
I wish the gift list had a share button so I could share it on Facebook. Otherwise, I love it and I'm having a great time filling it up with everything I want this year.
I just sent my husband my wish list! It has some luxury items, like velvet designer sofas and a beautiful metal and wood bookcase, as well as some high-end affordable gifts like art, a juicer, and those super fun metallic leather poufs. I'd be happy with even the cheaper items, like the faux shearling-lined cross-body bag, and that amazing faux fur throw that's on redline deals right now!
