I bought this rug in size 8 x 10 in orange, to be used on hardwood floors in a baby's room. I love the color and the pattern- it's very bright and fun and unusual (just a little different from the chevrons that are everywhere right now). The flat weave is nice- I can easily roll a chair or a bassinet over the top of it, even with the non-slip rug pad underneath. The only issue I have is that it does feel pretty plasticky! Given that it's a polyprop indoor/outdoor rug, this is understandable. It's summer so I'm sitting with bare legs while organizing baby stuff, and it feels like sitting on a tarp or other plastic covering rather than a soft rug. I know it will stand up to abuse and will clean well, plus the color is amazing, so I'm keeping it!Read More
I made the mistake of thinking this was an indoor/outdoor rug. This is definitely an outdoor only rug. I had hoped, like other indoor/outdoor rugs I have purchased from overstock, that this would be flatwoven and low maintenance but still soft enough to walk barefoot on. No. The texture of this "rug" is like woven plastic. I had planned to put it in my children's playroom but there is no place for this except outside. I cannot yet comment on how it will stand up to actually being outside, but given the material I am inclined to think it would be hot underfoot and literally appropriate for nothing other than outside decoration. The color and pattern are wonderful and fun. It's a shame I can't use it as intended. I do not think it is worth the price.Read More
