We love this trash can! It is the right size and shape for our kitchen and it matches my other stainless steel appliances. A very nice trash can for the money. As the other reviewers said "it works great" It is like having a robot in your kitchen--we even named it! We have it in an area where we walk by it often so it is always opening unnecessarily--but we think that it is funny--but eventually we will put it somewhere else when we have to start changing the batteries!

The trash can looks good but the inside of the can does not have enough support to hold the bag using the black bag holder. I had to make an alternative way of holding the bag. I like it when I do not need to use my hand or leg to open the can,

We have been using the iTouchless trash can for a week now with no issues. We really find it handy when your hands are full and cannot open the lid. All you do is walk up and get near the sensor, and, Voila!, it opens. It is also quiet when it closes. My only complaint is that the bottom part had a few small dents that had to be popped back out. They are barely visible but I still know that they are there.

I've never seen any family more excited over a garbage can. It was such a cool addition to our kitchen and has become somewhat of a novelty. When it first arrived everyone gathered around it and got such a kick out of watching the lid go up and down on it's own. This new addition has even encouraged the kids to throw away their trash after they are done with it. Clever idea for discarding those empty juice boxes they normally leave around the house. Our guests even get a kick out of it an pitch in during clean up. It's hysterical. On the negative side, the garbage can was smaller than what I expected. While its sleek design was asthetically a plus the ding that appeared on it two weeks after we purchased it was disappointing. The stainless steel is somewhat thinner than our older trashcan and is prone to denting. Nonetheless, I'd still recommend this product to a friend.

This is the greatest trash can ever! I love it! My husband is still getting used to the idea, but is adapting. I especially like the no touch!

I loved this product. Looks very good and functional. But I had to replace the batteries in 2-3 weeks. Otherwise its a neat product.

This is the second automatic trashcan that I own. I have the larger one for my kitchen and everybody likes the way it works. I decided to buy one for my bathroom. It works great and leaves your hands free when you are using it . My grandchildren like to put trash in it to see it work. I have never had any problem with the large one I own and the batteries last a long time. I also like the warning light that turns yellow when the batteries are running low. The look also fits in with my decor and looks very sleek with the satin finish. Easy to keep clean because of the finish will not show fingerprints

I am thrilled with this product. The can stays clean because you do not have to touch the lid. It is very convienant when you are cooking,makes cleanup a cinch!

We bought this for the grandparents house. They love it and the grandchildren really love it. I'm not sure how long it would look nice in my house with two boys 7 and 4 years old . The can is thin so I'm thinking it might dent easily. So...... it's perfect for the G.P. house.

It is really awesome looking, I love the convenience of touchless, especially when I'm cooking. The one draw back about the touchless is that my dog ( a lab) makes it open when she sniffs near it, she'sjust the exact height! go figure haha

This is a very nice looking, good quality trash can. I am having a little difficulty getting it back on the automatic opening after changing out the bags. I have to re-set it a few times. Uses 4 D batteries. Love the hands free lid.

I love the look of the trash can but it is really hard to put the garbage bag in with the plastic ring. It is also hard to get the garbage bag out. I love the idea of the motion sensor that lifts the lid. That was the main reason for buying the product. Don't know if I would replace it when the time comes.

This is the second iTouchless automatic trash can that I have purchased. One in 2005 which is still working beautifully. The price has dropped significantly since 2005 and the unit operates more quietly (a plus). The new can is being used in a different home and it instantly dresses up the kitchen. Sleek, nice design.

If you like hands off then this is it. Its slim design will fit anywhere. Very econmical and good for the money.

Up until today, I would have given this product only the highest ratings. However, the little plastic gear that moves the lid up and down broke today, and I am left with just a regular trashcan. I contacted the Meijer Company, and there is no replacement part. Also, they will not replace just the top part of the product, even for a price. I am totally disappointed.

I just love this trash can, when you have a hand full on stuff to toss away, it makes it so much easier to have the lid open for you. Love the product and the price I paid at Overstocks. A++++
