iRobot Roomba Red Cordless Vacuum Cleaner (Refurbished)

I LOVE this little guy!!! I always wanted one so at the price for a refurbished one, it was IRRESISTABLE, but I had NO idea how great it would be. While I have never been a good housekeeper, it is still humbling to acknowledge that this dirt basket is full after every run. It just means I needed him even more than I knew I did. It just does the ground - you still have to get out the regular vqcuum for many a task, but it's easy to use, easy to cleqn (there's more to it than just emptying the container, but it's still easy), easy to charge, and SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH!!!!!! He's really pretty powerful. If he wears out, I'm going to get another one immediately.

I needed a new vacuum and researched for a while before I decided on the roomba. The reviews were across the board high and I thought it would help me keep the house clean while balancing my busy life. I've just owned it a few days but my house is so clean. I just turn it on when I leave in the morning (or go to bed at night). It is like little fairies have come to visit. I'm greeted with the beautifully clean room. That is something considering we have a dog and three cats. I just love this thing. Totally worth the cost!

It does a great job of cleaning and sensing dirt. The color of the Roomba is a little undesirable (a sort of corporate furniture maroon), but it's only in sight when in use. Our cat is suspicious of it, but not afraid. This is good, because she's afraid of everything and was the reason why we bought the Roomba in the first place (our old vacuum was a terror). Worth the money, especially at this price.

This product was purchased as a gift for my daughter, who lives in a small apartment with new hardwood floors. We charged it up and let it go. It's not silent, but not as noisy as a larger vacuum. It picked up everything in it's path and went from bare floor to rug without stopping. It bumped a wall and turned, bumped a wall and turned. We stood there, trying to will it to pick up some debris in the middle of the floor, and it did, eventually. Fun to watch.

I gave this to a family who have all white tile floors and two black dogs. There is no more black hairs on their floors. Their son used the robot and followed it,s roaming path with their steam mop. That made cleaning the floors twice as easy as before. Now I am getting a roomba for my self.
