This is a very nice rug, dense and soft. However, the colors are not what they appear to be on my screen. The gold is actually more of an antique brass--the cap for rustoleum's American Accents "aged brass" is a perfect match. The lighter part is definitely more medium beige-y, with a slightly greenish cast. It goes very well with the gold, but do know that the gold is not as warm and the white is a bit darker than the pictures. Since I recently painted some bookshelves with that "aged brass" spray paint, the rug actually works very well in the room it was intended for. I have ivory/off white chairs on this rug and they look fine together.
I am not sure what to say about this rug. The quality is excellent as well as the price. I first ordered a smaller size in a different store where it was more expensive. So when I saw that the larger size was even less expensive at Overstock, I jumped on it without any hesitation. I received it while I was in the U.S. and I should have opened it first before shipping it to my house in West Africa. The shipment by boat took about three months and it is only there that I discovered that Overstock actually sent me the rug in green while I had ordered gold. I am so disappointed that I do not even know who to blame. There is no way I can return it now so I am ending up buying it again for finally twice as much, hoping that I will get the right color this time, and having to pay for shipment to Africa again. I still go back to my order history and it says gold. Where did this green come from? Anyway, it is a very nice item to own.
