We purchased this coffee maker as a "back-up" for the Zojirushi coffee maker we presently own. Don't want to go a day without this machine when the original one finally gives out...still going strong after 5 years. When we saw it on sale we decided it was time to purchase a second one. We set the coffee up with the timer to brew when we wake up in the morning. The coffee is delicious. The thermal carafe keeps it warm for about 3 hours--after that it usually needs a quick zap in the microwave to get really hot. Love the coffee. Love the coffee maker.

After reading all the reviews for this coffee maker I went ahead and bought it anyway. I love the taste of the coffee, I always hated the taste from other coffee makers since it sits on a hot plate getting bitter. Problems with pouring only occur if you do not line up the dots before pouring. Overflowing occurs only when you forget the "storage" cap on or your filter gets crunched by the water line before brewing starts. Once I figured all this out I have had no problems with the coffee maker and my partner even agrees it tastes better than what comes out of regular coffee makers!

The coffee pot is amazing! Come back six hours later for hot, fresh brewed tasting coffee. The directions aren't so good. I recommend this pot, just remember the lid with a hole in the middle needs to be on the pot during brewing!

Initially when I was searching for a carafe coffeemaker, I entered that I wanted a 12 C. pot. This is a good sized pot, but it is only a 10 C. pot.I like the ease of filling this pot since I have arthritis and sometimes have difficulty lifting a full coffee pot of water to fill the tank. This is an odd shaped pot, but the fill tank is easy to get to and fill.The stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for several hours. In the evening when I set up the coffee for morning, if I have any coffee left in the pot, it is still warm. I was surprised.I previously had a Black and Decker Caraffe Coffeemaker that lasted me for 5 or 6 years. I hope this one lasts as long! It sure keeps the coffee from getting bitter.

I needed a coffee maker to make good coffee and keep it warm without burning it. I needed a coffee maker that fit under the cabinets over the counter and fit it with the kitchen decor - stainless and black appiances. I did not need a coffee maker to grind the coffee as I already own a Braun coffee grinder that has worked for 20 years.This coffee maker keeps the coffee hot for many hours after brewing, it will still be warm the next day if you don't drink all of it. The operation is easy, the buttons clearly marked, and having them on the side of the appliance is a plus because they do not detract from its sleek design. It has a small footprint on the counter, important to me as my countertop area is not large.

Pot does not sit right so overflow happens quite often, no matter how small a pot I make. Stopped using it altogether!

We had a Cuisinart thermal carafe coffee maker that lasted a little over a year before it started taking about two hours to brew a pot of coffee. After perusing many different coffee makers, we finally decided on this one, and we couldn't be happier! It takes only about five minutes to brew a full pot of coffee and the thermal carafe keeps our coffee warm for hours! I absolutely love this coffee maker!

This was a great coffee maker while it lasted- which was just short of one year. In order to get it fixed, I have to pay for the mailing of the item from MA to NY and back. Hardly seems fair. It just all of a sudden stopped working. Still powers on, tells time, does everything but make coffee (does not heat or pump water over the coffee) Frustrating because I researched this extensively before buying it. Oh well!!!

I relied on the written reviews, and I found them to be accurate for this product. The coffee tastes very good, and I think the fact that this coffeemaker gets (and stays) so hot is largely responsible. I am quite pleased with it. It is well-designed, attractive and the price was reasonable.

I could accept some of the awkwardness of the design if the coffee tasted better. There is an undertone to the flavor that ruins it, and no amount of cleaning the system has helped. I will keep trying, though, in case it gets better with time.

I bought this coffee maker to replace a much more expensive thermal pot that was nearing the end of its usefulness. I checked on many brands and finally settled on this one. I couldn't be happier. There is one small flaw, and that is that it can be difficult to open the pour spout. Not very difficult, but sometimes it sticks a little. Other than that, a real winner and I will be looking into other Zojirushi products in the future.

This coffeemaker provides me with exactly what I had been looking for - rapid brewing AND hours of hot coffee!!!

Zojirushi Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker makes smooth coffee and the carafe prevents bitter coffee taste. I'm not going back to any other coffee maker after trying this one. It's a definite keeper!!!

I cannot recommend this coffeepot ..I spent way too much money for a product that didn't come with all the pieces.The permanent filter was not included, which means that I have to use paper filters. The box says that a couple of filters are supplied with the coffee pot They were not included in the packaging of the coffeemaker. Also the lid needs to be turned to open for pouring, unless you like your coffee to drip slowly into the cup.

I received my coffee pot in a timely manner. I noticed when setting it up that the permanent filter was not included, which means that I have to use paper filters. The overall appearance is acceptable, but because its' design, with the controls on the side, I have to keep it sitting length wise along my counter instead of backing it into the designated space. The pot is not as thick as my previous stainless coffeemaker, but it does seem to keep the coffee as hot. Also the lid needs to be turned to open for pouring, which is a slight inconvenience. My previous coffeemaker had a button to push when pouring. It is not as sturdy as I had hoped, seeing as the water reservoir is separate from the hot plate, (which doesn't get hot because of the insulated stainless pot, of course.) Too, it doesn?t shut off immediately after brewing. I haven't figured out yet how long it remains in the ON mode until it shuts itself off. It must be handled with care if moving it about after filling the reservoir with water for fear that it will break in half. It's just not very sturdy. As for the value for the money...I think I spent too much. Would I purchase it again? No. But it will suffice long enough for me to get my money's worth, I hope?

This is a decent coffee maker that looks good and brews coffee quickly. The lid is hard to get off after the coffee brews and the coffee does not stay hot for very long. I have had better coffee makers, but this will do.

It makes the coffee fast and it's hot when it comes out. The coffee is only mildly warm after sitting all day in the carafe. It works for what I wanted and that is not cooking the coffee after brewing.

Love this cofeemaker. It keeps coffee hot for hours, easy to use and clean and the design is counter friendly with the controls on the side. So glad I spent the extra money to get what I really wanted and needed. Highly recommend this product!

I like the coffee maker and it works and looks good. I realized I have to be careful to allign the pot right or I will have coffee on the floor.

My Bunn stopped working after several years of good coffee. I have had Bunns for many years but was ready to try something new. I am very happy with my choice. This machine makes a GREAT cup of coffee. The carafe keeps it hot all day. I like the program feature and the smell of the coffee while laying in bed in the morning. This machine is a real value and good looking as well. Uses very little counter space. I love it!!
