I bought 2 cocoons several months ago. When you get the cocoons the foam is vacuum packed. It's easy to get the foam into the cocoon but trying to break it up takes a while. It takes a couple of days for the foam to full fluff up. In the picture it looks like they might have 4 packs of foam in the cocoon. My cocoon looks a lot more flat. To get that affect you have to put the cocoon on it's side. What the makers of the cocoon have failed to remember is how to clean these massive beanbags. I have 3 kids and I have had to wash the bags twice. To store the foam I took a Christmas tree bag and lots of static guard to store the foam. The bag washes well in a regular wash cycle. It's a 2-3 man job to get the foam back into the bag. I also recommend that if you have a sewing machine that before you stuff your bag that you reinforce all the seams. The bags are sewn with a single stitch and they seem to come apart in places. The cocoon is very comfortable and when ever I sit in it I want to fall asleep.

Once I finally got the foam into the shell, ( it makes quite a mess), the product was not as I expected. It was much bigger than anticipated and very difficult to manuver and not as comfortable as advertised. I really wanted to return this item but since it arrived vacuum packed, there was no way for me to rebox it for return. Now I am stuck with something I am not satisfied with.

We ordered this for my son's room and it is really BIG and comfy. The one piece of advice I have is be sure to follow the instructions and open the foam packs INSIDE the chair. My son didn't read the instructions, and when he opened the foam pack outside the chair, foam went all over the place and it was very hard to pick up. Other than that, this chair is fantastic, really poofy and big. My 19 year old daughter came back from college this weekend and the first night she was home, she slept in the chair all night! It is really tempting to just sink into. We love it.

I just received my bean bag chair and my boyfriend set it up. He called me at work because the assembly of this thing is ridiculously messy! He said there is foam all over our apartment. You also cannot sit of the bean bag chair for 24 hours. After that you can start to break up the two gigantic foam blocks that you have to stuff in there. I didnt notice anything that said required set up before I ordered it which was a disappointment. I do hope that after 24 hours when the foam can be broken up that this bean bag chair will be worth the money.

I ordered this for our family room as a Christmas surprise. My husband and I had a great time unpacking it Christmas Eve, the foam really sticks to everything! It wasn't too bad to get it together, we were able to zip it up and break up some of the missed foam chunks through the outer fabric.I wish it would have come with an insert bag as well as the outer cover so I could easily wash the cover, but the fabric seems stain resistant and has held up to my 3 kids plus their friends and family crashing on it.Sometimes the grown ups curl up in it at night and watch movies, it really is huge. Ours has stayed full and round so far, with no fabric tears or seam rips. We are pleased with the bag and the great price.

The chair is super comfy and cozy. It is really big, so make sure you have the space for it in your room. I bought this in lieu of a loveseat. It's much easier to work with and more cozy than a loveseat. It's filled with foam, which is nice because it's not noisy whenever you move on it. I have been braggin' about it to friends at work, so I would reccommend it for anyone that likes to be snugged into a place.....my cat loves it, too!

Having read other reviews, I anticipated a difficult set-up -- it took some work but wasn't bad. It fluffed up within 24 hours and after about five weeks, it still seems appropriately stuffed, if a little less so then when it was first filled. I was really surprised at how big it is, it takes up all the floor space in our family room! But with two small kids, it is a perfect place to snuggle and wrestle and watch t.v. I have noticed, though that if we lay on it without a blanket over it, it does still have a slight smell. And within a couple of days, we had stains all over it -- it really should have a washable cover, but I am sure the covers from some other brand will fit. For now, I keep it covered with a blanket.

This is a really wonderful bean bag chair that fits 2 adults and a child easily. We have now had it for many months and it is sill great. The only negative was the color; while it looks like a really pretty mocha on the site, it is in actuality a really ugly khaki color- more "sand" toned than brown. I bought a duvet cover and sewed the edges circular and we put it on the bean bag, which is great for spills. This company needs to make covers for this bean bag in an assortment of colors and patterns! Well worth the money.

We bot this for my son to use while playing video games but it turned out to be too big for his gaming room so it got shuffled around the house a bit, but all the kids loved it. It became like a favorite pet, being pulled to necessary locations for jumping, sitting, sleeping....and was finally taken over by cousins who needed it for their remodeled garage. It's in a new home and happy with it's new owners.

One of the reasons that I love Overstock so much is that I can depend on being in sync with most reviews - I have had great luck with products that had good reviews. Well...on this item I must not be in sync with the masses. The cover is indeed khaki and not mocha...no big deal. There is NO way you could wash this cover as it would take about 2000 man hours to get all that foam back in the cover - if you could even do it. The cover is NOT soft and after only having it for several weeks it is already starting to pill. My biggest complaint about the beanbag is that it just lays in the middle of the room like a giant, slightly uncomfortable disk. We have tried to shape it (and believe me...we have been creative and determined) but this thing is totally stuck in giant, big blob on the floor mode. WAY too expensive to ship back so it will be going on ***** this week.....although I almost feel guilty saddling anyone else with this crazy thing!

I absolutely love this thing, its the most comfortable awesome nest ever. Except its flimsy and torn already! I've only had the thing a few weeks. You need to fluff this beanbag and it changes from a position you can sit on (side) to a lying one (flat). When I was turning it over my finger went right through the material. I sewed it back together but I am not a good sewer (?) so I'll probably have to get a cover for it or something

The only reason I didn't give this bean-bag five stars is because it doesn't have a removeable cover so it can be washed, but I guess if you think about you can't really wash a couch anyway...and this thing is surely big enough to stand in as a couch. It wasn't messy for me at all to put the foam in as some people have said, and I did get the dark Mocha color as shown in the picture. My boyfriend and I can both lay and or sit on this with plenty of space for our cat to lay comfortably with us. Hands down the best I saw for the price and I did lots of searching online! Plus you have to love the low shipping costs on overstock.

I love this bean bag!!! Things to consider: (1) this thing is huge!! you really need to consider the size of the room that you will put this in!! (2) the color is hard to determine from the picture. mine is actually a tan color but I read other reviews and was prepared for that to be the case (3) READ THE DIRECTIONS!! the foam should be unwrapped INSIDE the cover...(4) as per the Directions it takes a fullWEEK for the foam to expand. So if you can avoid using it until then do so, it will eliminate that sinking feeling that some other reviewers have complained about. I love this chair.. I fight with my family constantly to use it !!!

This bean bag is great! We call it the cowpie. We can all lay on it and there are six of us! It is huge but we stand it up on its side in the corner when we need floor space. This bean is worth the money though you may have to mend some seams from time to time...not a big deal when it gets as much hard, daily use as our does. We would purchase this again.

Very disappointed. Color and shape are way off . Would not recommend. Looks like an overstuffed pancake.

We ordered this bag chair about a week ago, FAST delivery! Everything is great except the seams on the bag were torn ON ARRIVAL in a couple different places :( We sewed it up and hopes no more come apart. Very comfy!

I love my new bean bag. It is comfortable and easy to set up. Set up is a little messy, but well worth it. I wish it had more stuffing to make it feel fuller. It's a great deal. No one believes what I a paid for it. The color is truly mocha and it's beautiful. Definitely give it a week to allow foam to fluff up. I'd buy it again.

I purchased two of these chairs for my son who moved into an apartment with a very large living room. He says they're so comfortable he falls asleep while watching television in the evening. They're very comfortable and made of a soft, yet well stitched material. He highly recommends!

It was a little difficult to keep all the stuffing in the bag why trying to zip it up. I would suggest some help to further buyers. It is very comfy and nice to lay on.

Very comfortable bean bag chair. Arrived quickly and assembly was simple. Only downside is that "Mocha" actually means light light tan. The actual color is a down side for us and probably would have discouraged me from the purchase. Because of the size of the bean bag, it's almost impossible to return. That being said, if light light tan is a good color for you, I would highly recommend this item.
