Overall it was good value for the beanbag. The quality is uncertain due to the flimsy appearance of the cover. It is a mess putting it together. The color mocha is not mocha, but actually a light brown greenish color.

The other reviews are correct in that it takes about a week for the foam to expand fully and it helps to keep fluffing it after the first 24 hours. It is like a big lily pad cushion, and then to use it as a chair you just pull it up onto it's side. My son is 15 and it is perfect for his room. He had a friend over who spent the night on it and claimed it was very comfortable to sleep on. It is more of a camel color and at first had a funky odor from the foam but that's fading after a few weeks, (probably replaced by boy-stink).Great value for the $!!!

This beanbag is huge! I had no idea that it weighed 65lbs. This can be used as a sleepover bed aswell! 2 or 3 of us can fit on this comfortably watching tv. We all love it!!! You can tell that this beanbag will last forever, it was constructed to last a life time. Absolutley recommend to all.

It isn't quite the big overstuffed bag we pictured, and after pulling the rock hard blocks of foam apart, it took about a week or more to really expand. Once it did, though, it became a great place to flop and have a nap. We haven't moved it into our son's game room as planned, its sort of become a fixture in the living room...mainly because now its so big and so heavy! Therefore, make sure you put it where you want it before assembly, or move to the desired location right after zipping the bag back up! My wife calls it the Big Cow Pie...but we're happy with it.

I was shopping for a bean bag, but wanted something large, but attractive and was unable to find anything reasonably priced that would fit into my living room decor. I gave this a shot after reading the reviews and have to concur with several of them. 1. It is HUGE! It really is a five foot oval laying flat, easily a foot thick, or if you flip it up on its side, stands three to four feet high. 2. It is extremely versatile and comfortable, either laying it flat and using in as a mattress, or flipping it up on its side and cuddling into it. We have it plopped in front of the TV and now instead of fighting over the recliners, everyone fights over the cocoon. 3. It is very heavy, not easy to drag it around, but it was relatively painless to unpack, see other reviews. 4. I always thought of mocha as a dark brown color ... this is more a tan khaki color. Overall, I love it. Would recommend it to anyone!

This beanbag is wonderful. My hubby said he wanted a beanbag and I tried to find a nice big one for him. I saw this one, read the reviews and decided to order it. I was not prepared for how HUGE it really was.This has to be one of the world's biggest beanbags.We have it turned on it's side (zipper on the bottom) and that had made it nice and cushy deep. My husband and I jokingly refer to it as "his womb" because I swear this thing almost envelopes him. He is NOT a small guy either - 5'10" but very thick.Putting it together wasn't bad, we ended up zipping the 2 foam cubes inside the cover and then reaching in and cutting open the plastic. No matter what way you unpack the foam it will end up a little messy. It did take about 48 hours for all the foam to completely expand.Make sure you are aware of how big this actually is. If you have a small room this would not be a good choice. When laid flat is truly is at least 6 feet across. On it's side it is better but still huge. PERFECT for a large room if you are looking for something loungy, comfortable and squishy. Not good for kids - you would never be able to find them again.

I absolutely love these chairs. I bought two. The price is half that of other websites. I set one up to be a loveseat/supersize chair and and other as a "crash pad" (flat like a giant pancake). They are well made/durable (I have taken delight in making flying leaps onto the "crash pad", no leaks or rips). Assembly was a bit trying: you have to open the cover, easy, then follow pull the numbered tabs on the fill and try to get it into the shell. I put the "pulled tab" fill packages into the shells fairly intact and then sliced the plastic open. I then pulled the plastic out and zipped the cover and kneaded the fill apart. That was successful. The whole process on the two was about 1 hr. Not bad. Love them.

First of all hats off to customer satisfying attitude of overstock. You might be wondering why am making such a statement. I have a story to tell. I ordered this cocoon bag sometime bag. It arrived to my door after 5 days. When i opened the package I found that the package is missing the mocha cover. SO I called up customer care for enquiry, whom directed me to the sales officer. The officer promised me that he will ask warehouse people to ship my cover in next 48 hrs. After 2 days he called me again and said the Mocha cover that I was expecting is not available for shipment. So he said he will reimburse the money that I paid for the bag.Coming back to the sofa, It was very easy to setup. Just put foam in the cotton cover which comes with the package. The foam will expand in less than 24 hrs. You can see the full expansion only after a weeks time. The bag is very comfortable and gud for relaxing. Worth the price.

This product was worth every penny. It was amazing how small it shipped and then how large it became. Best gift I could buy... so comfy, its rediculous. Assemblage was easy too. Only issue was that it came in a random color, not mocha... but no biggie. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to lounge around. I am even considering buying another to use as a bed.

The chair is super comfy and cozy. It is really big, so make sure you have the space for it in your room. I bought this in lieu of a loveseat. It's much easier to work with and more cozy than a loveseat. It's filled with foam, which is nice because it's not noisy whenever you move on it. I have been braggin' about it to friends at work, so I would reccommend it for anyone that likes to be snugged into a place.....my cat loves it, too!

Bag is very comfortable and fluffed up nicely in a few hours. Only issue I have is the color. I thought i was getting a brown bag and it looks more like a mustard yellow. I've decided to just cover with a blanket to protect and match the rest of the room. Other than that, great value.

Upon reading all the review for this item I went back and forth on which reviews to believe. I had been pricing bean bags online as well as various stores in my area. No other store or online site could compare! I decided go with this bean bag and boy am I pleased. Here are a list of why I am so happy: arrived in just a few days, easy to asssemble, looks great and most of all so,so comfortable!! If you are thinking about this "chair" I would say GET IT!

I'm not sure why this product has gotten such poor reviews. I love my cocoon! It takes a couple of days for it to really expand and take its shape after you assemble it, but once it does you'll be relaxing like you didn't think possible! Shipping was incredibly fast and I found that the assembly was easy if you unwrap the vacuum packed foam inside the cocoon and then break it up. It takes a week or so for the smell of the foam to fade, but it does go away! I hope you enjoy your little slice of heaven as much as I do!

Having read other reviews, I anticipated a difficult set-up -- it took some work but wasn't bad. It fluffed up within 24 hours and after about five weeks, it still seems appropriately stuffed, if a little less so then when it was first filled. I was really surprised at how big it is, it takes up all the floor space in our family room! But with two small kids, it is a perfect place to snuggle and wrestle and watch t.v. I have noticed, though that if we lay on it without a blanket over it, it does still have a slight smell. And within a couple of days, we had stains all over it -- it really should have a washable cover, but I am sure the covers from some other brand will fit. For now, I keep it covered with a blanket.

I bought 2 cocoons several months ago. When you get the cocoons the foam is vacuum packed. It's easy to get the foam into the cocoon but trying to break it up takes a while. It takes a couple of days for the foam to full fluff up. In the picture it looks like they might have 4 packs of foam in the cocoon. My cocoon looks a lot more flat. To get that affect you have to put the cocoon on it's side. What the makers of the cocoon have failed to remember is how to clean these massive beanbags. I have 3 kids and I have had to wash the bags twice. To store the foam I took a Christmas tree bag and lots of static guard to store the foam. The bag washes well in a regular wash cycle. It's a 2-3 man job to get the foam back into the bag. I also recommend that if you have a sewing machine that before you stuff your bag that you reinforce all the seams. The bags are sewn with a single stitch and they seem to come apart in places. The cocoon is very comfortable and when ever I sit in it I want to fall asleep.

This is an awesome bean bag chair! We got it for the family room so our toddler and baby would have something easy to play on and wouldn't cost a fortune. It is fantastic. First, the only issue with workmanship is that there were a couple of threads visible that needed to be trimmed - this didn't affect performance at all, you could just see them on the outside of the seam. Second, the issue with assembly is that it's tough to open the pack of shredded foam filling and get it into the bag gracefully. Have your vacuum ready for that. Third, someone had said it doesn't have enough filling. It does. It takes up to 24 hours for the foam to expand b/c it's vacuum packed. It's just fine. I'd absolutely recommend it. The only thing I don't like is that a liner would be nice so you could wash the cover.

i am very happy with my cacoon,it was fairly easy to assemble,came in a timely manner and is the perfect addition to my familyroom,i owuld defiantly order again from overstock.com and recommend a friend.

The cocoon is large but there was not enough foam provided for it to appear as full as it does on the advertised photo. I wish I could lounge in it like that, but instead, no matter how much I fluff and maneuver it, it still lays flat as a pancake and remains quite uncomfortable.

Its an interesting piece of furniture, and certainly a favorite of anybody who visits. However it is difficult to sit in it as shown in the picture, I feel it could either use more stuffing material or a smaller enclosure. Over all I do like the cocoon.

I was happy with the delivery time that is took to get to me. I am a bit unhappy with the look of the bean bag chair once I got it out of the box and inserted the foam stuffing. I may need to purchase an additional bag of foam to get the chair to be more comfortable and full.
