      When the rug came, I was suprised that this was a flat weave, Sumak rug, since there was no explanation of this in the description. I was expecting a thick, plush wool carpet, but was not the case. The pattern is very pretty and you can tell the detail is very good and of high quality. After doing some research on Sumak rugs, I found that these rugs go for about $2200 and up for a 9x12. I have decided to keep the rug, since the colors are what I was looking for. I am getting used to the different look and the feel of it (different texture as well). Value and quality are very high. I would recommend if you like flat weave rugs.
