Does not last long in NJ Maybe because the water is so bad here, but I have never gotten the meter to read 0. When I use a new filter, it starts between 5-10, and the water goes sour at 3 weeks. I have had to get a new filter 3 times already in the last few months when some people say it lasts months and months at a time. I must say that the water tastes delicious for about a week per filter!

Can I keep the dispenser on the counter (not refrigerated) and just fill a smaller pitcher to keep in the refrigerator, or does the water need refrigeration for storage? Also how long does it take to refill this dispenser with water?

One filter may treat tap water near 200 total dissolved solids (TDS) for as many as 30 gallons before seeing a reading of 006 on their TDS meter.
