this chair is lovely! I can't believe the value. It is exactly as pictured. The wood is black. flawless and smooth to the touch. The fabric is a rich chanielle, soft and comfortable. The size is substantial, just right as an accent chair. I had no problem with the assembly at all. There were no surprises.

I got this chair and what a piece of junk. I got it out of the box and the wholes did not line up (should not expect anything less from China made junk). Once it finally went together the legs on one side were about a 1/2 inch short on one side. I have all hardwood so that just wasn't going to work. Overstock never again!!!!!!!

Have wanted a zebra striped chair for quite a while for my bedroom. Read all the reveiws and ordered this chair. Love it, love it, love it. You will not be disappointed. It was very easy to put together and looks great. I am thinking about ordering another one.

I just finished putting together 2 of these chairs. Directions are well read and easy to follow, Chairs assembled with ease, Delivery was FAST! my purchase arrived well packed. Kudos to Overstock on representing these items perfectly. My loft is an eclectic mix of classic/modern and the print on these chairs are bold enough to"pop" my living area while remaining easy on the eye. My color pallet is a mix of creams, browns and black. The wood is a smooth, silky black, the seat and back are plush and very well finished! I am so happy with my purchase. The chair is well sized for the price!! If you are thinking about 'em, buy 'em! You will not be dissapointed! This was my 1st purchase with you, but not my last! Thank you for such a great chair!!!!!

These chairs are even more substantial than I anticipated, and that was a welcome surprise. They are firm seats, yet still soft and comfy to sit in. The assembly took longer than ten minutes (as other reviews stated) but that could be operator error. Still, each one (I bought 2) took under 20 minutes. The color is black and tan/creamish color, but that was perfect for the old-world look I was going for, as opposed to the more modern animal prints that others may want. They are sturdy and elegant with nice details in the wood work that aren't visible in the picture. VERY nice designer touch, indeed!
