this chair is lovely! I can't believe the value. It is exactly as pictured. The wood is black. flawless and smooth to the touch. The fabric is a rich chanielle, soft and comfortable. The size is substantial, just right as an accent chair. I had no problem with the assembly at all. There were no surprises.

I read all of the reviews and it took me awhile to decide to make this purchase as you never know the condition of the furniture and the appearance until you actually receive it. For the most part, all of the people who left reviews loved the chair but there were many comments about the knicks, paint issues, etc on the wood. I was going to order a second chair if I loved it, but obviously I am sticking with the one chair. I won't send it back as it is still a fun looking chair...as long as you do not look close at the flaws on the wood. Fortunately I purchased the chair on sale but still I found it only to be an average value. Customer service was ok to deal with but they did promptly send out two new legs, however, they too have minor flaws. If you purchase the chair, just be prepared for some knicks and scrapes and be willing to touch up them with a black marker. While the cushion seat is extremely comfortable and thick, the weaving of the material was a little loose. I find that it snags fairly easily with my cats jumping on it so I have a throw blanket over the chair to protect it (kind of takes away from the fun look of the zebra print!). On the plus side, it is very comfortable and it is a cool conversation piece. I still like sitting in it and it is very roomy. I am very happy that the wood is black but as others referenced in their reviews, make sure you want black color instead of the brown color it appears to be in the photo. I am selecting that I would refer the chair to others with the knowledge that there are going to be some flaws on the wood. As long as you are prepared for the marks, etc, you should be happy with the chair.

I ordered a pair of these chairs at the beginning of the week and had them by the weekend. They were not too difficult to assemble, look stylish and are quite comfortable. I'm using them for our music room, so it was important for them to be low (to reach the ground easily) and wide (to sit up front). One chair has a couple of small flaws, but only I notice them and only I know what I paid...so I'm not complaining. One nice detail the photo doesn't show is a beautiful decorative trim around the base of the seat that gives them a look I've seen on island-inspired furniture. Don't worry about buying these chairs online without testing them. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Love these chairs. Easy to put together although the key is to not tighten up all the screws until the end. The dowels help with proper placement and tools are even included. I waited so long and could not decide about these and it turned out to be one of my favorite purchases. Arrived quickly and packed very well. I recommend highly - this price is great too.

these chairs are awsome...I absolutely love them..arrived in a timely fashion and the assembly went smoothly..they look very classy and elegant in our family room..they are very versatile can be used in other areas of the home as well.on a scal of 1 to 10....i wud give a 10 plus....over stock "ROCKS"!!!!!!!

Every hole lines up perfectly. When putting together the first one, I found that if you finger tighten all bolts first then go back and tighten with the included allen wrench it seemed to work the best. The second chair was then a snap. GREAT CHAIRS, very happy with the purchase.

This chair was exactly what I was looking for to place in my bedroom. It is comfortable and classy. Looks more expensive than actual price.

We love this chair! It is very affordable and adds an instant "deco" statement to our room. It came within a week. I love it! Everyone also loves it and cannot believe the price I paid, and that Overstock only charges a few dollars for shipping!

This is a fabulous accent chair. I have an off -white leather couch and this just makes the room! Another great buy from the BIG O!!!!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this chair!!! I was surprised how much nicer looking it is in person vs what the photo shows. The material is a soft but durable chenille with light tan and black stripes, which I think looks more classier than the usual white & black stripes. It's heavyweight but not that heavy that you can't move it around to vacuum underneath it. The seat width is extra wide which is nice for those that are on the "plus" side ;) The hardwood framing is excellent quality too. It wasn't hard putting it together but it helps to have an extra person hold it while screwing in the bolts, etc. which btw, aren't that many so it's not as time consuming as you might think. It probably took my husband and I less than 1/2 hour to put it together. I have it sitting in a corner in my home office with a Dale Tiffany (ruby lampshade) Downbridge floor lamp right next to it - and it just looks fabulous!! It especially complements the black office furniture.

it was delivered right on time. i have been looking for this chair for a long time and I assembled it in 15 minutes flat!! went together easily and with no problems at all!! good size and comfortable, quality all around ,looks great and is very sturdy. several of my friends fell in love with it, one wanted to buy it from me...no way!!!!!!! thanks for a terrific bargain, overstock, i am thrilled!

This is a great chair for the price. Very easy to put together (my 13 year son did it for me). It adds a nice little splash of fun to my living room. It's comfortable too!

I love everything about this chair! Not only did it show up on my doorstep quickly (much faster than waiting for a furniture store to deliver pieces), but it was also quite easy to assemble. I put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. It was actually larger than I was expecting, and the quality is super. The fabric is also good quality. The stripes are definately beige, not a white zebra stripe, so keep that in mind. Overall, a really cool looking chair!

The chair is attractive to look at, but not very comfortable - stiff. It does match a ottoman purchased at another store perfectly though. Major problem is that when the holes were drilled at the factory - specifically for attaching one of the arms, it was drilled at an angle. When the screw is put into the hole it went right through the top of the arm, even though it wasn't even screwed in all the way, so that you can see it and it caused the surrounding wood on the arm to protrude upward as well. Wanted to exchange it, but it was out of stock.

Needed a pair of chairs for infront of my fireplace, these worked perfectly. They are comfy, sturdy, and can hold a large person also, not one of those tiny seats. Put them together myself, simple assembly. Delivery quick and right to by door - I live on second floor and delivery guy brought them up to the deck at back door-who can ask for more

I ordered these chairs for my daughter. I really liked the way they complemented her decor. Almost half a year has passed and they still look great! (She has a BUSY time out toddler - so I'm guessing they must be easy to clean.) They are comfortable.

I bought 2 of these chairs for a conversation area I have in my Master Bedroom. The 1st chair my husband helped me put together and the instructions were simple. The second chair didn't get put together until about 2 weeks later. Both chairs matched in colour and pattern, no problems at all. But upon seeing them side by side, the back rest on the second chair meets the seat area, with no space between. And the wood joints are not flush and a tiny bit of bare wood shows. The 1st chair there is about a 1/2 inch of space between the back rest and the seat. These chairs are so beautiful, I was very pleased with them. And as for the back rest differences, they are not bad enough to have me box them up and ship back and wait for another one. These chairs make the room! You are gonna love them!! :)
