Overall, so far satisfied. The packaging of product was sub par, but didn't seem to cause any damage to product. Recommendation on my end, when attaching the futon frame to the arms, it is drilled and taped for bolts, go to local hardware store and buy size 14 1.5" wood screws with plastic washers. The bolts do not fit right in the predrilled holes and the screws hold latches much better, this makes the job a lot quicker and cuts down on aggrevation as well. Product defintely gives off rustic/cabin feel.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Good
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Pine arms are nice, some splinterring where the joists were put together, that can be expected though.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Pretty accurate.
We bought two of these sight unseen after reading multiple reviews. Here's what we've learned: put them together and allow a month for the wood to acclimate to your environment/humidity/etc... then snug up all the allen screws again, and lubricate all joints and moving parts with white lithium or equivalent so that the thing is quieter and moves freely. It is a well designed piece if assembled thoughtfully and not forced anywhere. The company backed up their product after I screwed up and overtightened a couple of pieces and bent the back- sent me replacement back sections for only shipping. I have no complaints for this product. Also- we bought separate mattress sections from another company. Good luck.
