Ordered a pair of the black version a week before the family returned from a trip abroad. They (the stools) arrived on time as advertised. Easy to assemble and comfortable to sit in, the wife and kids were "impressed" by the purchase as hoped. As several reviewers have pointed out, the "tacks" on the side are tacky if inspected closely but from a normal distance, the effect works. If you want a truly classy, authentic-leather, and tack-driven version, you will end up paying a truly "classy price". For the given price, these are excellent quality. Now that the kids have used them for about a month, they do appear to need a re-tightening but I expected as much as that's normal after preliminary use. Oh, and lastly, if you're having trouble trying to determine whether the cherry version matches your existing decor, go with black: it matches anything.

These stools look very nice and were easy enough to assemble. Obviously, I do not know about the durability...yet. That when you can determine if the product was good value. Nice looking, quick shipping and do the trick!

They're handsome looking barstools and have gotten many compliments on them. Delivery was also fast. This is my first time buying from Overstock.com. and will buy from them again.

I searched around for stools that would look good with our new cherry mission style cabinets, would swivel and not break the bank. These stools look great and are comfortable to sit on. Our guests have also enjoyed them and have made favorable comments. The rivets are just decorative and appear fake if you look close up. One stool arrived with a very small cut in the vinyl near the rivets which isn't too noticeable. I didn't bother to return it. Down the road I'd like to recover the seats and after looking at how they are made it doesn't look too challenging. But for now the black seats look fine. I would purchase these again.

THE COUNTER STOOLS ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND IN GREAT CONDTION. THEY WERE VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND LOOK FANTASTIC AT OUR COUNTER. I HAVE SEEN THESE STOOLS FOR MUCH MORE THAN I PAID FOR THEM - THEY LOOK EXPENSIVE AND ELEGANT.

I thought I was going to have my son assemble these, but they were so easy. The nailheads matched the hardware on my other furniture in the dining area. Correct height for my new Corian counter.

These are quality stools. They are beautiful. I assembled them both in about 15 minutes. They are wonderful stools at a great price!

We purchased these chairs about 1 year ago. They appear sturdy and in fact are comfortable. However, my husband just had to take them all apart and re-work the screws as they would no longer tighten up as they should. It was a little complicated as he had to purchase new bolts to do the job. Now I have to paint black over the silver bolts, and I can handle that. But they do work loose in time and will need to be re-bolted.

Easy to assemble and sturdy. They look very nice with my cherry cabinets in my kitchen. I was afraid that the legs would be uneven but this wasn't the case. My only concern is possible chipping of the finish eventually but still a good value for the money.

We recently got our stools and really like the way they look. The stools were as they appeared in the pictures and was what we expected. I would recommend them to others. Wish they were made in America.

I could not even do the first step which was to remove the screws from the chair pad. They were imbedded in the chair pad so hard that I was starting to strip the screw head with my screwdriver. I am unfortunately returning them as both of them had the same problem. I find it hard to believe I am the first to have this problem. I purchased these after reading the reviews on how good they were and easy to assemble. I have 6 other bar stools from another company and they were easy to assemble so I've done this before.
