It looks like new, and it is light. I an an amputee and in a wheelchair so it being light was one of the main reasons that I bought it. There is not an authorized Homelight dealer/repair shop in my area, so I am going to pay to have it fixed. So far it has never started.

The trimmer is hard to start and the line breaks about every 30 seconds. The triimer needs to be stopped and the line fixed constantly. A 5 minute trimming job takes about 30 minutes with this piece of junk.

It works good. There were some scuffs on the housing, but it runs like a top.
2.95 shipping is excellent, and I received my product six days from placing the order.
Teh string trimmer isn't altogether everything possible. I refitted with a weed blade kit (Plastic)
HOWEVER. The high R.P.M. of teh shaft, made them disintergrate literealy within ten minutes...
So, I recommend at last a heavier line.
I replaced the weed cutter heads (The plastic blade ones) a second time, and now I run it with one finger UNDER the throttle, to avoid high R.P.M.s
It wouldn't exactly cut down a small tree, but its stout.
The oil fuel ratio on the gas cap is a God send.
Starting is very convenient. My mother could probably start it.
It is light, compact, stores well, I think it is a good buy.
One more word of caution, be careful assembling the shield. Get the nut very tight.
But, overall for under seventy dollars including shipping, it is a valuable tool.
Thanks again

This is the first gas powered weed trimmer I have bought, and I love it. The trimmer is light weight and easy to use. Perfect for around the house. It was well worth the money.
