Yamazaki Swivel 5-piece Place Setting

When browsing for silverware, they all seem to look alike. But when I saw this knife...I had to have them! I really like style that stands out and the twisted shaft is awesome! They have great weight to them as well! They're a solid polished stainless steel finish, not a brushed finished as the designer photo may appear. Everyone likes them. I can tell that these are going to last a very long time both in craftsmanship and style! Keep in mind that a set is only what's pictured... 2 forks, 2 spoons, 1 knife.

• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate.

These are simple but striking. Very classy. And they have a nice heft. Caution- be careful about putting the knives in the dishwasher. As with so much stainless flatware, the blades can end up with random discolorations.

• Did the color match the color displayed onsite? The photo made it appear that the handles were muted or brushed. They are actually bright, shiny stainless. They look great -- just not exactly like the photo.
• How is the quality of the product? Very good quality.
• Did the description onsite accurately describe the product? Yes.

Very hefty weight and substantial feeling, and the curved handles are nice to hold. (Be aware that "set" is one of each: one knife, one soupspoon, etc.) Holding up fine in the dishwasher so far.

Very pleased with the placesetting. I ordered 5 and have had them for over a month. I initially bought a set at ***** on sale and then found them on Overstock at a better price than they were at ***** on sale. When I first ordered them from ***** I wasn't aware of the fact that I was only receiving 5 eating utensils. I thought I was ordering 5 place settings. After getting over the cost of them I still decided to keep them because I thought they were of good quality, pretty and uniquely different. I started looking for them at a better cost and found them on Overstock! The swival place setting is of good quality (I wasn't sure if 18/8 stainless would hold up to the challenge), am very pleased with the weight of each piece (Large Fork, Spoon,& knife weighs approx. .37oz each) and love the mirror finish on the set. Before you purchase just realize that you're paying for only 5 pieces (2 forks, 2 spoons, & 1 knife) of eating utensils and not 5 sets of knives, forks, and spoons. This is a high end purchase and so far I'm very pleased with the wear of each piece. If anything changes I'll be sure to follow up and warn my fellow Overstock shoppers!
