Great everyday flatware
I have had a service for 12 of this flatware for 15 years, and it still looks fantastic. The secret is to take the manufacturer's warning seriously: DO NOT use any citrus-based dishwasher detergent, it will ruin the finish on your flatware. I put mine in the dishwasher regularly, but I only use Palmolive Lavender or Cascade with Baking Soda detergent. We originally bought this pattern because we wanted a nice, simple, everyday-use flatware to replace the silverplate we had gotten as a wedding present. We have not been disappointed.

Dishwasher Safe?
If you don't mind scratches and spots on the first or second run through the dishwasher, you will be very happy.

I wish that they were a little heavier! I will use these for daily use now and probably replace them next year.
