Yamazaki Bolo 65-piece Flatware Set

This flatware is very attractive, is weighted nicely, and looks great when it first arrives (and it comes in this really cool wooden box that makes a great desk organizer if you don't need it for the flatware!). But like other reviewers have noted, it doesn't wear well. Not only does it come out of the dishwasher with spotting (even when everything else in that batch of dishes and silverware are sparkling clean), it scratches easily. If I'm having people over for dinner, I need to wipe all of this flatware with a damp cloth while setting the table, and sometimes have to use a light steel wool pad to make it look presentable. I would not buy this brand again. Too bad, because their designs are some of the best I've seen.

this flatware is attractive and a pleasure to use. it is substantial and well balanced. it sits easily on the table, the dinnerware and in your hand. the serving pieces are attractive. so far, no rust spots -- my nemesis with stainless. a good product at a very reasonable price.

Have owned this set for over a year. Great durability and style. The only thing is do not use any dishwasher product containing citrus of any kind. This can cause "rust" staining.

We had added this same brand to our registry and received the smaller set as a gift. I was looking to buy more so that we had enough to entertain and was greatly surprised to find this set, which is MUCH bigger and includes the serving set and butter/spreading knife for less money than our smaller set had cost. They are a great set, and look very elegant yet simple. Only complaint is that in the dishwasher, they sometimes get tiny rust stains that you have to scrape off afterwards, other than that... Great product at an even better price!
