My husband was able to put this together in about 20 minutes. It took more time unpacking/unwapping the parts than actually putting it together. The clean simple lines made this the perfect addition to a small work space at home. Its solid wood frame (no cork board) makes it very sturdy. I'd definitely recommend.

The shape was exactly what I needed for an empty corner in the family room. We have computer set up here and it works out great. However the finish is not good at all. Looked beautiful when we put it together - but shortly after - the finish on the front edge started to wear off - I have tried to touch it up with one of those stain pens - but it is still very noticeable. So, if you do purchase this - be careful with that area.
I'm 5'2" and this desk with keyboard tray fits me well. The keyboard tray is wide enough for an XXXXX extended keyboard and mouse with extra room. At first I was annoyed as the keyboard tray had a wood lip on the front so my arms would rest on the lip and it would irritate my wrists/arms to no end. I wanted a completely smooth surface. We considered how we could saw off that edge. In the end, we removed the tray (super easy with clips on the track) and just flipped it - the hardware worked completely the same reversed (we did not need to remove any hardware). So in essence the lip is now on the underside which actually makes it a little pull to pull out the tray. The height of the desk and tray are as indicted in the other answers. Many desks are 30" or higher which is not good for a shorter person. Seems to make a lot more sense to me. The quality is excellent as it is solid wood. The color is a bit blacker than I would have preferred but it works OK. It fits my 22" Dell monitor in the middle with my 13" laptop to the right (or left) perfectly. There's plenty of room to spare for papers etc. It is perfect for what we needed it for - a small writing area for me in a corner of a room. It also was easy to put together. There are screws you need to screw in (with no pre-drilled holes) but the screws are self-drilling so it wasn't that bad. Everything else was simple. Took 30 minutes.
I needed a finishing touch for my guest bedroom. I have walnut furniture and this desk just fit into the whole thing wonderfully. It is functional and rich looking. Had a dent when I got it, but worked that problem out with Overstock. A friend already stayed there and loved the keyboard shelf. The wood is a rich dark brown., I have gotten compliments on it already.
The desk fit well where I wanted to use it as a corner table. The construction was good quality although the soft pine wood was a bit fragile. The inside corner of the keyboard tray door was broken at the hinge and there were three "dings" in the wood. Since I was not using the keyboard tray, I just nailed the door shut. I had some wood stain and repaired the dings. This was easier for me than returning the desk for another!

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Door to keyboard was broken at hinge. Since I was not using it as computer desk, desired to nail shut the door and keep it.
