Although I have not had there long enough to give a good durability rating, they are definitely very sharp, balanced well, and appear to have the best of steel in construction

Not as sharp as I thought
Received them and they needed sharpening before we could use. Good knives after sharpening, but do not hold an edge as long as they should considering the price..... Do your homework before buying on line; go to store and try item first

Solid block set, great pieces
Solid block set, clean lines and high quality. Good "all around" set for the active home cook, our household uses all of the pieces regularly.

dangerous
It is too sharp like deadly weapon to me. Now I am afraid to use it at all. Since the knives works so well, once cut, it cut so deep, I never had cut with other knives at all.

Great Set
I personally have the 15 piece set, but bought this smaller set for my mother. Although the style of the handle is not what I would have chose, it is extremely comfortable to use. The blades are VERY sharp.
