I love this rocker! Very comfortable & stable. It is a good height - easy to get in & out of and it is roomy! Very well constructed. There is a rubber covering on the runners to protect your floors and also make rocking smooth. The rubber is painted the same as the chair & blends in so well, I had to look really close to see it. The rocker was easy to assemble also. No special tools required.

I am happy with my rockers so far. My daughter and I put these together without instructions and they was fairly easy to assemble. They are nice heavy rockers. For the price I am very happy with them. I was afraid at first to order them but after reading the reviews decided to give it a try so I ordered two and I am glad that I did. The shipping price is wonderful and the delivery time was very fast. Would shop at overstock.com again.

This chair should have been very easy to put together, and would have been if the parts had been made correctly. It only has 2 arms, the seat, the back, and 2 iron bars. The holes for the bolts were not drilled correctly. They did not line up. Thank goodness my ex-husband was here to help me with this. It took all his strength to force things into place, and it didn't just snap in place for him either. Once put together, it leans slightly to one side because of the way it is made. Both arms of the chair are curved inward like parenthesis, which takes up about 2-3 inches of room. If you are a big person, it makes it difficult to get in and out of the chair. You tend to get stuck. If the parts had been made correctly, I would have given the chair high marks.

I have a wrought-iron fence surrounding my home and this comfy rocking chair is the perfect tie-in. Its comfy enough to use without a cushion or you can "dress it up" or add a splash of color to your front porch with a cushion. Nice chair!

This is a comfortable, easy to put together chair . I sprayed it with Rustoleum and covered it securely with a tarp as it remained on my semicovered deck for the CT winter. It looks good this Spring.

The first thing we did was spray it with Rustoelum per the recommendations of the other reviewers (~$5.00 for one can). The assembly was easy and the construction seems very sturdy. This rocker is roomy and comfortable and makes a great addition to our patio collection.

Do yourself a favor and don't purchase this rocker. I've had it for one year on an outside deck and although it is made for the outdoors, it rusted within the year. Not just a little rust, but the actual aluminum / metal tubing that comprises the legs and supports have rusted completely through. I can't salvage it. It was a TOTAL WASTE of money. I would definitely not recommend.

I purchased two lounge chairs and a table that match this rocker in June 08. Rust was on our concrete patio by August 08! I spray painted them yesterday, but know they will be dumped by August 09 due to extensive rusting. These are supposed to be outdoor pieces of furniture and we have not had that much rain in North Florida, but I don't recommend the rocker or any related pieces.

Rocker is easy to put together and seems sturdy, I just received it a couple of weeks ago and really haven't put it to the test since it is now winter. The only flaw I see is that you will probably need cushions seems like there are little pieces of metal on the seat, while they aren't cutting your legs they do poke them if you wear shorts when sitting in the chair. But overall the chair seems nice for the price.

I bought these for our front porch, but was disappointed with the construction and overall look and comfort. They are the type of chair that once assembled, you aren't going to disassemble and return. We've moved these to the back porch, and they are "okay". Certainly not very comfortable for a rocking chair. This would be the last chair I would select to sit in, or look at.

I saw this rocking chair when I was on a trip in Mississippi. I wanted it then, but didn't make it back to purchase it. When I saw this rocking chair on overstock I had to have it. I came within a few days, just like they said. It was easy to put together. I put it together by myself. It is very comfortable and looks great on my front porch. The seat is oversized. I had thought it was a little taller, so you might want to check the dimensions before you by it. It still worked out great!!! The lattice straps are wide like I like it. The iron is better than you would find at a home improvement store.

This has been quite the experience. The rocker came without the hardware and spreader bars. I received the hardware about 4 emails and 10 days later. It then came without the spreader bars. I am still waiting for a 3rd shipment to get the spreader bars. Boy.... that's about 25% of the summer in Minnesota. The rocker is large so if you are a large person, you will like the size. It looks black in the picture but their is a lot of shaded gray on it. I am not sure about anything else because it is still in my garage awaiting parts.

The best rocker i ever had. Was very easy to put together and is wider then the norm which is great for all. My husband broke my last one because rocker was not strong enough, I LOVE IT

We ordered two of these rockers for the front porch of our home where the space is awkward; these fit beautifully and really complement the exterior of our home. The rockers aren't a pure black, but we think it adds to the dimension of the look. They're very comfortable and we have a WIDE range of heights and sizes utilizing the seating. They're also portable, as we frequently move them to the back patio when entertaining more people...they're heavy but not terribly awkward. The only issue was the "construction" and fit of the screws. Once the chair was almost completely assembled, my husband had a difficult time getting the final screws set easily, so he had to manipulate the chair quite a bit. But once he figured it out, it was a breeze on the next chair. The chairs seem to be very firm and we look forward to seeing how they look at the end of the season! Overall, a really pretty and comfy (and unique!) outdoor seat!

This chair is oversized, extremely comfortable and I love the rubber runners on the rockers. I bought 2 of these and I am so glad that I did! They went together easily and were a great investment. The finish is black with some gold showing through. I lightly sprayed them with a sage green color and they turned out just beautiful!

I hate having to come up with a title. Anyway, I ordered this rocker, chairs and table combo for my covered front porch. I am a huge opponent of resin furniture on front porches, but had nothing but 2 resin chairs on my porch for 1.5 years after I moved. I finally got around to doing the front porch and found this furniture at Overstock. I got the entire set w/ cushions and an outdoor rug for around $700. At local stores, even at the outlet mall, they wanted $1,300+ for just the setee. Ridiculous! It was extremely easy to put together, is comfortable and looks GREAT! Highly suggest it if you want something a little different than the typical wicker furniture for your front porch.

I had purchased another of these rockers last year, then could not find them again. When I found this one, I hit the order button immediately! It "sits" very comfortably, even without cushions, and looks more expensive than it is. Assembly is awkward but not difficult. The only complaint is that the screws rust - this time I will take the screws and buy some rust resistent before assembling it. A GREAT buy! I love it!

I ordered 2 of these for our patio. I'd read in other reviews that they had rusting problems. I bought some Rustoleum spray paint and painted the chairs before I even put them together. They've held up wonderfully with no rust for 2 years out in the snow & weather. I'm very happy with them! I think the little extra labor was worth it for the price I paid for the chairs!

The chairs will rust rather quickly when left in weather. Would do better under covered area. Not very heavy, so will not last too long.Great price but will they last for the money.
