I took the advice of the others and spray painted the table and chairs to match my other furniture. I love the way it looks! All the other sets I considered were much more expensive. This set will be fine for at least two or three years. I also suggest replacing some of the screws with longer ones. I did for the second chair and wished I would have for the first. Using screws that took a flat head screwdriver made putting the chair together much easier and faster. The set came within a week of ordering.

I loved the set, it was hard to put together, and when we started to put the last chair together the back of it was damaged, I had an online chat with someone at overstock and was told we would have to return it all in order to replace the one back of the chair. Still thinking on that. We would like to buy the 2 extra chairs but are a little leary of the condition it will be in when we get it. After all of the work to put it together, taking it all apart to return it is not very appealing.

I just ordered this set for my balcony, and it is lovely. It arrived and my boyfriend and I had it set up in half an hour. The chairs and table are sturdy. They are light enough to move around, and the table feet have adjustable pads to keep them from wobbling. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the paint finish is black with light gray highlights. The seat height is 30 inches, so we are high enough to see over the tall balcony railing. The table is big enough for a place setting for two. The chairs have nice arm rests and foot rests, and are wide and comfortable for some serious porch sitting. Looking forward to enjoying the fall in my new patio set!

Was looking for outdoor furniture that was cute and different for our small patio that wasn't too bulky. The chairs are comfortable making cushions unnecessary and the table is a decent size. It was hard to find chairs that were barstool height, had a backrest, footrest and armrest so this was PERFECT! It's not true wrought -iron (you can bend the metal lattice work if you really try) but I think it will weather the heavy rain and it's sturdy enough to last a few years so it's still a great value. You can't see on the photo but there's a slight grey marble effect on the black paint that hides imperfections. The seat depth/width is not huge so not ideal for very tall or overweight people. Very happy with this first purchase from overstock, it came quickly!

I have searched for a while trying to find a set like this one. I wanted chairs with arms, wide enough seat for comfort and a smooth and higher back. Also I like the foot rest on the chairs as well. I love the slated cross style. I have only had it one month and if it begins to rust I will simply spray paint it. All in all I love it and would purchase it again.

Received the set promptly. First thing is there is very little wrought iron in this set. It is almost all tubular steel. My set came with pre-rusted chair legs. The whole thing is held together by small diameter screws which strip very easily. I suspect those will rust within the next few weeks at which point the set will rapidly begin to fall apart. Chairs are unbalanced, wobble and sway.Only issue with overstock.com is I can't return it. Buyer beware.

I've had my bistro set since Dec 2008. I ended up spray painting mine a Rustoleum "hammered brown" color and I just LOVE it. The black did not look right on my deck. Of course it is not heavy duty wrought iron but it certainly is great for the price! I'm hoping with my immediate painting that it will not rust too quickly. As said by other reviewers, I did notice tiny spots of rust as I was painting it and I had only had it for a few days. But overall great purchase. I love the higher height! I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can enjoy it more often. Easy to put together too!

My husband and I were looking for a set like this for some time. We found a very nice bistro set at a local patio furniture store for over $1,000. No way was I willing to invest that much. I was pleased when I found this set at Overstock, but was skeptical about the quality since the price seemed too good to be true. Thanks to the reviewers recommendations...I decided to purchase it. It arrived at my home only 4 days later. It was fairly simple to put together and looks fantastic in our court yard. We have received many compliments from friends and family. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. The value and quality of the set is excellent. Thank you Overstock.com!

After reading most of the reviews about this set, I went ahead and ordered it. Delivery was fast and it came in good condition. Overall the set is nice. If you're looking for Brown Jordan then don't buy it. If you're looking for something that looks good and will probably last a few years, then this is the set for you. I am keeping it on a screened porch, but if I were keeping it outside, I would put a clear coat spray on it for protection. One misleading fact, it is not true wrought iron.

I am not sure as to how to review this item. I have only had it a few weeks.
The size and "look " is perfect for my small patio. However, a few ( rough) areas have started to rust. I plan on trying to protect it by using rustoleum rust inhibitor. I hope it works.

Very pleased for the price invested - easy assembly - my 2 teenagers did it in a few hours along with the matching Settee set. Not official wrought iron but heavier than we expected. Will see how durable it is after a year, but so far so good.

Table and chair are exactly the product, price, height and strength that I had been seeking for over a 2 year period. However, three days after setting them outside they started to show rust from underneath where the lattice strips overlap. Although this condition has not worsened it does distract from the overall appearance.
