A few things went awry with this chandelier. But, overall, it is a good buy.First: the dimensions provided aren't accurate. The chandelier is 30 inches long from the ceiling mounting plate to the tip of the bottom without any chain. The chain adds over another 3 feet.Second: the directions provided are not accurate, making assembly for the novice quite difficult. However, after finally putting it together, it's really not that hard to do. The real challenge comes when tying into your ceilng wires, as the assembled chandelier is cumbersome, awkward and heavy.Third: the scroll type arms holding each light is are not rounded, as you would imagine wrough iron fixtures to be. They are a flattened panel about 1/8 inch thick with powder-coated finish. This lends to a much more contemporary and less high-end look.Overall, it's durable, pretty, a good product for the price, and best suited for large rooms with high ceilings. Good value

The picture does not do this justice! It is a show stopper for sure and very unique! When it arrived one of the glass light covers was broken so I emailed the company - on a Sunday - and I received a response within hours. I explained the problem and I then received a new cover direct from the factory within a week. How's that for good business!! If you are on the fence about this chandelier - just get it...We LOVE ours!
