This platter is beautiful. The "stones" on the top are raised a bit, allowing extra juices from the meat/chickento drain off into the "trees" and not pool under the food. It is a good size and would be a great gift for anyone who likes to barbecue and entertain. It comes packaged very well, also. As it is ceramic, there needs to be some caution to not chip it -but it is a unique piece! And the price is awesome!
