The armrests sit a little low. Unless I slouch my elbows can't reach the armrests. Assembly was a little tricky. My suggestion, when you put on the seat back do not tighten the bolts or screws all the way. Do not put the seat cushion on until the arms (they were the most difficult) are attached. Then tighten the seat back and attach the seat cushion. They look good and are fairly comfortable.

Our chairs arrived very fast, in great undamaged condition and looked exactly how they are depicted in the web image. We have ordered two sets and thus my poor husband had to assemble 4 chairs. I do believe that Swiss should make clocks, Danes - furniture and Chinese should continue to perfect themselves in Chow Main. 3 out of 4 chairs had misplaced holes where to attach arm rests. My husband had to go thru a lot of troubles ( and he is a handy guy ) to finally get them together. Other then bad experience of assembly we are happy with chair's sturdiness and look. If you are not afraid of challenges of home carpentry ,go ahead order them and you will not be disappointed. But, have your breakfast first, it is tough work.....

These barstools are real furniture! Perfect for a greatroom setting. Not too hard to assemble -- although both chair packaages were short on hardware, Overstock got the additional bolts to us very quickly.

These bar stools were excellent quality for the price. Although assembly took some time, they are very well built. All parts were included in the package, however, the instruction parts list needs to be updated. Packaging could have been better, especially with UPS doing the delivery and dropping the boxes in the driveway. Overall, I would highly recomend the product especially considering the price.

These chairs are really worth the money. The instructions weren't the best, but you can figure it out. I was scared to order these without seeing the quality. They are gorgeous and make the bar look very rich. I purchased 8 of them.

We purchased these for our home bar in the basement. They look beautiful and are very comfie! They look much more expensive than what we paid for them. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars would be due to required assembly. The instructions were not the greatest. Some of the pre drilled holes did not line up exactly which required a power drill and some tweeking. It took us about 8 hours to put together 6 bar stools! They were packaged nicely and contained all parts.

We are very happy with these stools. They look great and the price is right!Stools are very difficult to find and we looked everywhere before purchasing these. We are so happy we did!They look like they are worth twice the money we paid for them and my husband did not have a difficult time assembling them. This was hard and tedious to put together. It did not have all the specified parts needed for both stools. The final appearance is nice enough but it is not as big and sturdy a stool as the picture looks
