Bought this to replace a bread cutting board with rolling spindles and am somewhat disappointed. Slats are fixed, as I knew they would be, so crumbs fall through but I miss the flexibility of cutting with rolling spindles below.
I had been looking for a crumb board like this for some time now.
I don't like the bread knife as it seems to shred the fresh bread rather than slice it. I just replaced it with my old bread knife.
I am very happy with my purchase.

I could have researched for a better quality product, but I knew I would get what I paid for: an "Okay Cutting Board with a so-so Knife"!!! I don't anticipate a long life for this shabbily put together product. Thankfully, my family doesn't use it at every meal, otherwise it will fall apart very fast...It does the job, though.I do have to say that the wood is a bit soft and the bottom is some sort of cheesy plywood...again, you get what you pay for, so don't expect a superior product!
