This review is also for overstock, not just for the potential buyer. Please try to make the pictures of your products a litte more true to the actual color of the product, it could be done, not having the right colors may discourage buyers who are not risk takers like me! Okay getting to the review for the potential buyer, I bought the Walnut color and what's in the picture is not the color of the product, it's a much darker brown, once again lucky me, it was perfect! It's in my bedroom, fits perfect in an empty corner I had, takes up no real space! Looks very attractive with a few decorative pieces. Have no hesitation in purchasing this item, you will be pleased. It seems durable, and was easy to assemble. Thanks Overstock, once again after taking a chance on an iffy item, I'm pleased.

Overall I love my new corner shelf. I gave it a three star on appearance because it extremely red in color compared to the other cherrywood furniture I have in the room. Workmanship, as easy as it was to assemble, one of the screws went all the way through the side piece into a shelf. The hole could have been to big or I may have tweeked it too hard with the screwdriver. All in all I love my shelves. I haven't filled them all yet but I am sure it won't take long!! And I may get another in light oak for a different room.

I was a little nervous when the directions recommended two people for assembly. However, it was very easy to put together (by myself) and it looks great. This unit was exactly what I needed in a bare corner of my dining area. The shelves are roomy and the unit is sturdy. Now I think I need another one for the opposite corner!

I just finished putting this together - it took about 20 minutes or so. I have zero mechanical ability, but managed to get this together with only one minor oops that I was easily able to correct. The directions are clear and include pictures. The look is great - it appears to be something that cost a great deal more than it did and now I finally have something in that corner of my craft room. Overall, great quality, great product, great value.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my new shelf! What a great piece of furniture! It definitely needed a second person for assembly. This piece is good quality, although one of the screws somehow broke in half while being screwed in. The shelf is standing on a carpeted area and is surprisingly very sturdy. I highly recommend this corner shelf! Excellent for the price as well!

Product arrived with all pieces intact and great looking. I have assembled many pieces of furniture and I am used to viewing "exploded" assembly directions, so that wasn't a problem...but I do see how a novice could be easily confused. Best to lay out the pieces as pictured and go from there. As previous purchasers' commented, I, too, used my own glue. I know that the glue bonds and swells the wood to create a tighter bond between the two pieces. Although it recommended having two people for assembly - and it would have been quite a bit less awkward - I assembled it by myself in about 45 minutes (and I'm a woman :).It looks fabulous and my parents were suitably impressed with not only the quality, but the price! Can't beat those shipping charges :)

I love these shelves! I ordered them to put on either side of my fireplace because the fireplace wall came out about 2 feet from the back wall and the corners looked so empty. I used them to place pictures, books, printer, phone and decor on.It's an elegant way to keep "things" tidy.
