We purchased this for our son who is in college. I love that we could just send it directly to him, He was able to assemble it without any problem. It is very sturdy and well made! I was very impressed with the quality. It will do the job for a college apartment. Very pleased with the price and the speed that it arrived.
This was the first item I have ever bought from Overstock I was not pleased with. The bookcase was cheap looking with a couple places on the venure peeling. The tabs that go in the screw holes to make it look nicer won't stay in. After we received the shelf I read you can't put books or any weight on the top shelf because it is so weak.
I would have sent this item back if it were not for the fact we had out of town company coming to stay in the bedroom and I had to get the books out of the box on the floor before they arrived.
A few days ago I was in town and noticed a better shelf at a lock store at half the price I paid for mine, and that added to my disappointment in the product.
I might add I have received my 3rd set of sheets and love them. Like I said this was the first item I was unhappy with but I suggest you not buy this at all.
