• How accurate was the on site description of the product? it looks far wider in the photo than the actual product, about a foot wider

I knew this bookcase would be cheap, based on the other reviews. It worked for what I wanted, but the quality was even worse than I thought. Part of the veneer on the side of the bookcase chipped off, and there were flaws and scratches on the other side. Don't get this if you want to put it in a prominent place in your home. People will laugh at you.

Why anyone would spend tons of money on a bookcase, when this Wood 3-shelf Bookcase is available, is beyond me! The craftsmanship and quality of the wood is excellent! Although I am petite and was not able to assemble it on my own, my two male neighbors/friends put it together within fifteen minutes - tops! They both said it was easy for them to assemble. Originally, I was going to paint it to match the other furniture in the room, but I ended up liking this color and the grain so well, that I left it as is. Anyone who is looking to purchase a bookcase, should definitely buy this one!

We purchased this for our son who is in college. I love that we could just send it directly to him, He was able to assemble it without any problem. It is very sturdy and well made! I was very impressed with the quality. It will do the job for a college apartment. Very pleased with the price and the speed that it arrived.
