Panini Grill
from Mancos, CO,  Oct 26, 2009

Order arrived quickly and in good shape. Would never have known that it was a refurbished item. Followed the easy start up directions that were included. Have used it many times for breakfast and lunch items. Fun to use. Caution - it gets very hot.

Satisfied
from Salisbury, Maryland,  Aug 20, 2009

This refurbished panini maker works well. Pros: the grill pans can go in the dishwasher, it has very even temperature on all grilling areas, and the floating lids are great. Cons: its very bulky.

Electric Grill
from New York, NY,  Aug 7, 2009

Great price on a good grill. If you have a dishwasher, the grills are easy to clean--by hand, not so much. The unit tends to smoke a lot when getting up to temperature, which takes some time, no matter how careful you've been about cleaning it. Cooks great though--does a terrific job on a wide range of foods, far superior to my old George Foreman.

panni grill
from Atlanta, GA,  May 3, 2009

It is wonderful. I can cook 3 six inch Italian loafs made into pannis at the same time. It cooks fast. Clean up is a breeze with the grilling parts and drip pan being dishwasher safe. I had originally bought an inexpensive panni maker-ugh! No floating hinge so I had to keep moving the sandwich around to cook evenly and could only cook one at a time. Clean up was a pain-could not put in dishwasher and the drip pan was a joke. If you want convenience and delicious pannis every time, you will be glad you bought this panni maker.

There are some minor blemishes on the grill plate, however, for the price it is a GREAT buy! I would recommend to someone.

Versatile and solidly Built
from Nashville, TN,  Feb 11, 2012

I had to replace my old George Foreman grill when the non-stick coating started to chip. I was frustrated by not being able to submerge the grills on the GF, so this was a feature I needed and found in the Wolfgang Puck one. It has a variety of removable grills, many settings, a large grilling area, a flexible hinge, sleek in appearance and substantially constructed. I can cook for one or a group and clean-up is simple. I don't even use my outdoor grill anymore. I highly recommend this product.

Panini Wiz
 from Florida,  Jan 9, 2012

I purchased this item about three (3) years ago and it makes more than a great panini. This was bought when my wife and I were in an apartment where we were not allowed to own a grill. We have cooked chicken breasts, hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage and many other things on it. It is much better than any other similar grill I have used in the past. We have made some awesome paninis with this grill that would not have been possible without the temperature controls. Most grills of this type do not seem to have a thermostat as useful as this one which makes it possible to panini some crazy combinations. My favorite is a pot roast panini with mashed potatoes on it. Perfect way of serving leftovers that nobody will complain about!

Wolfgang Puck Panini Grill
 from Florida,  Apr 7, 2010

The Wolfgang Puck Panini Grill is so much more than the name implies. It grills steak, pork chops, burgers and chicken breast in just a few minutes. It comes with a flat grill for cooking mushrooms, peppers and onions, sausage, and bacon to name just a few. The possibilites are endless. It has three adjustments to meet every need. It is my most favorite appliance and I highly recommend it!

Love it! Great buy!
from San Diego, CA,  Mar 3, 2010

This is a great buy...last night I made ahi tuna and salmon and it was delicious. I have also used it to make steaks and grilled corn. Because I read all of the reviews prior to making this purchase and knew that it takes a while to heat up, I just make sure to turn it on ahead of time.

Nice Grill
from Washingotn, DC,  Feb 26, 2010

This is a very nice grill to use for seafood, sandwiches, steaks, etc. However, I was a little surprised by its appearance. The picture on Overstock.com gives the illusion that the grill is a shiny stainless steel appliance. The grill is a brushed stainless steel appliance. I love the way it cooks and the clean-up is very easy.

Good Value for Grilling
from Atlanta, GA,  Jan 15, 2010

Pros: great value, great looking, well made, detachable grill plates that are dishwasher safe, lay-flat grill, includes griddle plate, lets me grill indoors in the winter time, large grilling surface, meats grill quickly and evenly and turn out greatCons: it's BIG, Takes a really long time to heat up (10-15 min), no on/off switch, Temp dial is loose and oddly marked with random temps, have yet to successfully grill a panini without burning it, even at low temps, deep cevices in the plates are difficult to fully clean (the included tool is worthless)Overall: It serves me well for my needs which are mostly grilling meats when I can't use my outdoor grill. It has quirks but ultimately does the job and looks great doing it. I would however think twice if paninis are your primary goal.

I bought this as a refurbished panini grill with no faults listed. The grill works fine, but my disappointment stems from this... this panini maker has cheap PLASTIC rings that show the temp and time settings. The one around the time dial was broken off when I received the panini maker. Also, the storage area under the back of the grill (the ledge that holds up the extra grill) is broken on one side so the extra grill sits cockeyed. I do not believe I will order another 'refurbished' item, and will think twice about buying Wolfgang Puck again.
