I bought this hoping we could use it as an oven/toaster/broiler. It was a bit larger than I expected, but I thought it would be worth giving up the counter space if it could do all three. We did not end up using the convection feature, and when using it for baking you have to watch to make sure the top of your food doesn't burn. If you are looking for a toaster oven, you should know that you'll need to use the pizza drawer to make toast. I finally broke down and bought a standard 2 slice toaster.Read More
Bought one of these to replace a toaster oven. Works good, and has done what I bought it for. Does pizza great, likewise for other items. I had a perceived problem with it, contacted "O", and they promptly shipped me another one... Review: A good unit, good price, and "O's" service is outstanding...Read More
We have used it several times a week for over a year and have found it to work well for quick heating and light baking. As you would expect it is not designed for baking cakes, etc and will not deliver the results you want, but is great for snacks, reheating, light baking, etc. I liked it so much I bought one for my mom.Read More
The only probem I've had is that the average frozen pizzas you buy are way too big for the oven. Other than that it has an amazing variety of functions and is well put together.Read More
I have had the oven for two years and we don't use that often, The door had broke at the lower hing. the hing is made out of a small thin piece of metal that will break. I called customer service for a replacement part and they do not have one available , they told me to "buy another oven", ya right, Don't waste your money. Oven should break before the door does. Even the cheap sear ovens last longer then 2 years.Read More
Things I have made in this oven since 3 days ago:BAKED CHICKEN--- @375, the convection oven cooked it super evenly, without any noticeable hot-spots. Excellent.FRESH BREAD--- I did appreciate the vertical interior space (it is exactly 6.75 inches from the lowest rack position to the lower edge of the upper heating element. My bread had risen high and fit with an inch to spare. However, the temperature had to be adjusted down by 20% (to 320F) otherwise the bread would've over browned. 40 minutes later, I had the best loaf of whole-wheat bread I'd ever made! (and I bake A LOT!) A NICE THICK CHEESECAKE! I used the slow cook setting at 215F for 2.5 hours. It worked just right without over browning the top.DROP BISCUITS in only 7 minutes! At 450F with the convection fan on.PIZZA (a fresh pizza) in the lower oven came out just right after 14 minutes (at it's max temp setting of 400F)A CHOCOLATE BUNT CAKE. Beautiful!PUMPKIN PIE? Perfect!A PORK ROASTon the rotisserie came out so succulent and roasty-toasty good I did a double take! Although the oven needed quite a cleaning after!Well-toasted GARLIC BREAD in less than 10 minutes!A few CONS? Just very minor ones. The display is a bit small for those with vision impairment. The beep signaling preheating and time out is so soft it can hardly be heard from the next room. I have excellent hearing and missed a few times. The lower oven has a max temp of 400F, great for pizza but not hot enough for certain items, frozen, thick cut French fries or hash browns for example. The operation of the oven is somewhat over-complicated but nothing a bit of patience and manual reading couldn't fix! Here are the specs as I see them: MAX food height, (this is taller than you think) 5.75 inches. MAX pan width--~13 inches MAX pan depth--12 inches. Not too huge not to small. Just right, IMORead More
Here are the specs as I've measured them: MAX food height, (this is taller than you think) 5.75 inches; (any taller than that and the top of your food will burn.) MAX pan size = 13x13 inches. This oven is not over-sized nor too small. It's PERFECT for just about every baking application, where a large oven could be used but doing would be inconvenient or unnecessary. It's perfect for outdoor kitchens. (However, it pulls 1500 watts, so it should be the only thing operating on any given circuit.) PROS: These are things I have made in this oven with great success: 1---BAKED CHICKEN: @335 degrees, the convection oven function cooked it super evenly, without any noticeable hot-spots. Excellent! 2---FRESH BREAD: I appreciated the vertical interior space (it is exactly 6.75 inches from the lowest rack position to the lower edge of the upper heating element. My bread had risen high and fit with an inch to spare. However, the temperature had to be adjusted down by 20% (from 400F to 320F) otherwise the bread would've over browned; 40 minutes later, I had the best loaf of whole-wheat bread I'd ever made! I used the convection bake function for this one. 3---A NICE THICK CHEESECAKE: I used the slow cook function at 225F for 2.5 hours. It cooked it perfectly, without browning the top. 4---DROP BISCUITS in only 9 minutes! At 450F with the convection fan on. (7 minute preheat) I got similar results with pre-packaged biscuits. Frozen biscuits should be allowed to mostly thaw before baking. 5---PIZZA (a fresh pizza) in the lower oven, came out just right after 14 minutes (at it's max temp setting of 400F) (8 minute preheat) 6---A TRIPLE-CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE. Using the convection bake setting @ 320 for 60 min gave fantastic results, such as very even cooking; again, there were no "hot spots". 7---A PORK ROAST on the rotisserie came out so succulent and roasty-toasty good, I did a double take! HOWEVER, the oven needed quite a cleaning after! (It took me about 20 minutes of cleaning with lots of 409 and about a dozen cotton rags.) 8---GARLIC BREAD using the convection bake function @450 in about 15 minutes. Preheat included. CONS: (Just very minor ones.) 1---THE DISPLAY is a bit small for those with vision impairment. 2---THE BEEP signaling that the oven has finished preheating and for the timer is so soft, it can hardly be heard from the next room. I have excellent hearing and have missed it a few times. 3---LIMITED USE OF LOWER OVEN: The lower oven has a max temp of 400F, great for pizza but not hot enough for certain items, frozen, thick cut French fries or hash browns for example. It can cook pizza whether frozen or fresh, but nothing else. Except, perhaps biscotti. 4---COMPLICATED: The operation of the oven is somewhat over-complicated, but nothing a bit of patience and manual reading couldn't fix! 5---CAN"T COOK A TURKEY: The ad misrepresented it as "able to cook a 15lb turkey" (Baloney, more like it.) Max weight in my experience shouldn't exceed 8lbs. The rack isn't strong enough to support 15lbs. 6---ROTISSERIE: After using the rotisserie, I spent 20 minutes cleaning it with 409 and about 10 blue shop towels. It splatters like crazy. 7---INSIDE SURFACE IS VERY SCRATCHABLE. Only soft cotton rags or blue shop towels should be used to clean it up (409 or Windex work great) Altogether, (especially considering the price) I rate this product 4.9 out of 5 stars. Don't let the word "refurbished" bother you; my oven came is brand new, factory condition.Read More
We have enjoyed using our oven, especially the pizza oven at the bottom. We were disappointed, thought, that a 9" X 13" cake pan will not fit in it. If it were 1/2 inch wider it would have fit. They took up too much space for the timer on the right side. It does not broil as evenly as I would have preferred, but I just open it and turn the toast around. We tried a bunt cake, it did O.K. until the end. The back section of the oven cooks faster and makes things darker. You will need to watch it and keep it turned.Read More
I LOVE my new oven. It does everything: a great rotisserie chicken, bakes a pizza, great toaster oven and it's so easy to program. It does get hot so be careful and supervise if kids are cooking. Made the most flavorful and tender rotisserie chicken in under 2 hours. It's even easy to clean after using. It is a little tall and I don't have enough room to store in cupboards but it looks great on the counter top anyways. Very happy with my oven! We use it almost daily.Read More
Does the job for just about any cooking order. Keeps the big oven off while the wolfgang model can practically do all the baking ,broiling and especially the rotesserie function. I thought my oven was new , I couldn't tell it was refurbished. Does the job and saves me $, my best purchase for 2009.Read More

How to Install a Built-in Microwave
Microwaves are a kitchen staple. They offer convenience, no residual heat from cooking and, when compared with an oven or range, efficiency. With so much going for them, it's no surprise microwaves are so popular. But ever since microwave ovens were made to be installed over the range, that dilemma has ceased to exist. Installing a built-in microwave is really not that difficult, but what many people don't realize is that they need a dedicated 20-amp circuit installed in the cabinet directly above the microwave oven for the installation to be up to code. If you're not comfortable running your own circuit, hire a qualified electrician for the job. Once you have the circuit installed, you can then install a built-in microwave.
