This rice cooker takes forever. I am so sad that I didn't just buy one from the Asian market. I would say this takes on average about 8 minutes longer than my old Asian cooker. It is fine...the rice is cooked properly and it doesn't stick...the steamer basket is good...it just takes so long. Rice is usually my go-to for a quick and easy meal after work, and adding 8-10 minutes to my meal prep isn't what i was looking for.

I love this rice cooker. I bought a second one because it was easier than bringing it back and forth from by boyfriend's house. You put all your ingredients in, turn it on, and forget about it until it's done!
