You need to read the book that comes with this and be prepared to take time to learn how to use it. They don't make cookie presses the way they used to and Grandma's press was easier to use. But if you want to make Spritz cookies, this is the easiest one to use today. Once you get the hang of it, the cookies come out great. If you want to make cookies with young children, do rolled or drop cookies-not cookie press ones! I would suggest this only for more experienced bakers who are patient.
