You need to read the book that comes with this and be prepared to take time to learn how to use it. They don't make cookie presses the way they used to and Grandma's press was easier to use. But if you want to make Spritz cookies, this is the easiest one to use today. Once you get the hang of it, the cookies come out great. If you want to make cookies with young children, do rolled or drop cookies-not cookie press ones! I would suggest this only for more experienced bakers who are patient.

This cookie press does not have enough power to push out any cookie dough.

I would recommend not putting this down after trying the first time. It was a bit different in that the cookies were very tiny. What I found out is that you need to press down longer on the button to make a more normal size cookie. Other than the initial "oh my gosh" moment, I like this electric cookie press, makes life so much easier.

I have this cookie press and use it making cheese straws on a weekly basis. To those who have problems with the rod bending or making a clicking noise when trying to use it, the dough is too thick. It happened to me and once I changed the consistency of the dough it was fine. After using the manual cookie press for so long, I did have to get use to it but now I love it!

I have used this cookie press 3 times. The first 2 times it worked beautifully. The 3rd time the rod that pushes the dough bent and I am afraid it will break so I stopped using it. Very disappointing.

For xx $ I could not be happier w/ my purchase. It was easy to figure out and did what it was supposed to do the first time. I have worked w/ electric cookie presses in the past and am used the pace that you need to set to get consistent cookies. Be sure your dough is not too sticky; put it in the fridge for a few if it is. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it did not come w/ a packing utensil to pack the dough in the tube and prevent gaps. However a table spoon worked pretty well and it did not turn out to be a major hassle. My family is so excited to have Grandmom’s butter cookies this Christmas! And you really can't beat the price!

Great product. I could not tell that it was reburshed. It took a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, you get great professional looking cookies!

Great to find a new version of the classic electric cookie press. Has a lot of different cookie designs and decorating tips, easy to load, good power. Great price, couldn't tell it was refurbished, looked like new. Look forward to making Christmas spritz cookies this winter!
