LOVE IT!!!!!!
I was thrilled beyond thrilled. I would highly recommend this for first time users and even for those who have used one on the stove for years, will love how easy this is to use; no more babysitting the pressure like the ones on the stove and clean-up is a breeze. I bought two of these and gave one to my sister-in-law for her early birthday gift; she used hers the very next day to make soup that usually takes 2 hours to cook on the stove, it only took 30 minutes in the pressure cooker, she also did chicken and rice and it took only 20 minutes instead of the usual 1.5 hrs. I made beef stroganoff in mine that takes an hour because of the beef strips to be tender, took only 20 minutes and my husband said it was the best that I have made and he never complains about my stroganoff. The best is Pinto beans 30 minutes to perfect beans no more cooking all day in the crockpot. I love my pressure cooker, the best late Christmas present ever.

If I only cook rice its worth it
It was much bigger then I anticipated and doesn't fit in cupboard. The manual isn't very clear and seems to be referring to another model quite a bit as this one doesn't have the buttons/functions its talking about. Once I got it figured out though its easy to use and cooks rice very fast. If I don't cook anything else in it its worth it for the ease of cooking rice. It does cook meat quickly but I haven't played with it enough to get a really good result yet.
