Have been cooking oriental foods for over 30 years, I have not found a wok that works as good as my old iron wok and a gas stove. Have moved on from gas to electric in my new house and was not happy with cooking oriental foods. Wok was not hot enough on the sides. I began to stir fry on my grill but the sauces always ran off. I purchased the wok after much research. It met my expectations and more. The wok takes time to heat up, just like my old iron wok. It cooks on the sides, just like my old iron wok, it is easy to clean up, just like my old wok. The electrical dial is easy to read and comes with numerous settings. I love this wok, and I am sure my husband and I will get tired of stir fry soon, but so far we have used it about 4 times a week. Left over meat, chicken, fish becomes the next day fried rice. I stir fry fresh vegatables to go with left over spaghetti and meatloaf. It has made a new cook out of me.

This wok arrived as a Christmas present for my wife so it went unopened until then. Upon opening it was discovered to have scratches that probably will not effect the way it works but it was damaged none the less. I tried to find a replacement but it was sold out! Overall I am satisfied even with the scratches as it is a well made product. Next time I buy from Overstock I will inspect items imeadiatly upon receipt.

I Love It!! I have always wanted a wok because I love oriental foods. This is the perfect size and I love the fact that I can control the heat. I have even used it as a deep fryer in a pinch. You won't go wrong with this appliance. Great quality at a great price!!

First of all don't even think about buying this piece. this is not a Wok, it's a deep frying pan. a Wok is like a half egg that is deep and narrow at the bottom and wide on the top. Be the judge and ask yourself if this is true. there is no way that I would even remotely say to buy this. If you don't believe me then check out this guys other deep pans and they will look very similar. the largest meal that you would be able to make out of this pan would be a large stir fry and even then stuff would be flying out of the the pan more than a normal Wok. If you want a good Wok check out the stores by stoping in and seening a true Wok for yourself. If I could rate this product a ZERO i would but it wont let me so....

I thought this was brand new. You would never know it was refurbished. It cooks very well, especially on medium high. We made fried rice. It cooked perfectly, without sticking. The wok washed up in a jiffy. This is a great deal for this high quality product.

We were very pleased with the wok. It arrived in a timely manner, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well made and solid the unit is. Our old wok was not nearly as well made. We've used it and our dinner came out extremely well. The only down side is that the temperature control does not have degree amounts, but rather "keep warm", "medium", "high" or "sear". But my husband, who does the stir fry, says that is not a big problem. I'm sure we'll have this wok for many years, and it was well worth the price we paid.

This was my first time ordering something refurbished. It had all the plastic on it like no one had opened it. Would recommend ordering refurbished items instead of new items.

After a few times trying, I got the hang of using the wok. Once I did, it works really well. I had to get used to electric heat compared to my old wok that fit on my gas stove. The power surges compared to a steady flame.

I was very pleased when I received my wok. It is refurbishes, but had only one very small scratch that was barely visable. I make a lot of stir fry in it, but probably use it even more for browning meats and other things. I have a very large family and have found that it is great for scrambling large quanties of scrambled eggs, making sloppy joe's, and other dishes. I would certainly reccomend this product to other consumers.

this is the best wok i ever owned, like the heat settings, large size, great value, you cant get anywere else but overstock, would highly recommend

I love my WOK, was looking for one that was inexpensive everywhere. Mine was 24 years old. I got it and love it, durable, i was a little bummed about the scratches on it though.

fantastic wok. Even temperature, large bowl and easy to clean. Perfect. It looks brand new and works wonderfully.

The Wok is sturdy, well constructed and cooks and cleans up like a dream. I don't know why I waited so long to replace my old one.

The first time I used the Wonk. I prepared a complete healthy meal in three minutes and the clean up took two minutes. Great cook wear with extreme heat to cook with!

I love my wok. It's easy to use and heats up very quickly. Cleaning it is a simple wipe! So far, I've used it for stir-fry (meat and veggies) and a few noodle dishes. The only small downside is the size. I have limited cabinet and counter space and it's somewhat difficult to store. I would definitely recommend this wok to anyone looking for a great easy cooking tool!

This product was "refurbished" but brand new. It is of very high quality, works perfectly and was a significant savings. I would purchase from Overstock.com again.

I love this wok, I had only tried a different brand in the past so I did not know that there was something better and at a great price and looks brand new! I used it for the second time last night making a meal for 8 people and it was big enough to hold all of the meat and vegetables. There is a setting that actually keeps the food warm unlike the ones I have owned in the past that would scorch the food. I would definately buy again!
