I purchased this as a gift for myself. I used it in different modes when it came in and found that it did not brown properly. I chatted on line with service representative and was told exactly what to do in returning the item for replacement . The replacement was here before I got the original one to the post office. This one works great and I have tried old recipes from top of stove cookbook and also recipes from the Wolfgang Puck cookbook and things turn out great and its so easy, quiet and no stress. Highly recommend it.

This was a gift for my daughter who still can't bear to be in the kitchen with a pressure cooker, even mine, which I've used for 50 years. With this electric automatic model, she can set it up on the washer in the laundry room! She and SIL and happy campers, now enjoying all the benefits of pressure cooking I have been extolling for all these years. Price was right, also.

I love my Wolfgang Puck pressure cooker. I had never used a pressure cooker before, and I use this almost daily. Food comes out wonderfully flavored. This makes food easy and simple to fix, and extremely quick. My sister also has one of these. In fact she recommended it to me and I am very thankful to her.

My unit - the 7 quart model just died. It is displaying the dreaded E4 error message. Two months past my extended warranty coverage. Overstock will not honor the warranty. Google confirms a common problem with all the Wolfgang Puck models and this error message. It's an electronics problem and can't be fixed. Loved it while it worked but it's better to invest in a more reliable manufacturer. The timing on this stinks, couldn't have been worse!!

It looked as if it would be difficult to use and I was so wrong. It's great and really quite easy compared to the models from years ago. You had to be a "wiz" at using those. Sometimes the lid would blow off and food would be all over the kitchen. My mother had such a model. The instructions are easy to use and you can use it the first time without a worry in the world. The nice thing is you can buy a "lessor" cost of meat and it will cook tender. The insert is an extra special feature. Steaming rice and cooking' potatoes for Potatoe Salad is a snap. I highly rate this as an asset to every kitchen.

I thought I'd give electric pressure cooking a whirl, and boy-oh-boy am I glad I lucked out and found this refurbished model on Overstock.com. Love, love, love it. Makes PERFECT rice, every time, no matter what, in 6 minutes! Pot roast, beef stew, pulled pork, chicken, beef stroganoff, green chile stew - all huge successes with the husband and kids! Easy to use, great safety features - like the lid will NOT open if there is still steam pressure (that is easy to release via the valve). Some people claim that they have problems with the settings of "rice", "meat", "veggies", etc vs. the typical high, medium and low......but I just set the setting to what I have the most of in the pot - usually meat - and everything I've used it for (2 dozen times in 3-4 weeks) has turned out to be perfection. A few people on other sites have complained about getting an error message after a while and it appears to be due to a faulty seal. I went over to wphousewares.com and ordered an extra seal gasket for $11. So I hope I can avoid that problem if it arises. All the other parts are very sturdy and do not look like they will wear out any time soon! Pressure Cooker recipe books can be picked up on xxx for pennies! :)

I have always used a regular pressure cooker for over 30+ yrs and decided to try an electric one.. I don't know why I waited so long.. I love it !!! I use it just about every day. Anything I can cook on top of the stove or oven I now do in the pressure cooker. It is so quiet I had to keep going over and checking it out. Anyone thinking about buying one should , as you will be pleasantly surprised. I love this cooker so much I purchased another one for when my family gets together I can really put out the food. I haven't used this pressure cooker yet, but it looks pretty nice to me. I'm planning on using it to make corned beef and cabbage the weekend of st.patrick's day.

I got my pressure cooker fast and it was in excellent condition. The only thing i wish was more clear is how to actually use it. It is very vague when it comes to the instructions for rice and not very good on detailing times and settings for other things. Great pressure cooker but it is more trial and error on settings and time.

Purchased Wolf Gang's 5 quart pressure cooker in January '10 and have used it 2 to 3 times a week since. I've made fudge(!), roasts, ham & beans, baby food, vegetables, chicken & dumplings. It works great and is so much more user friendly than the older rocker type cookers. Bought one for my daughter & she loves it too. Getting ready to purchase one for my mother. She likes that I can cook a frozen chicken or roast in under 40 minutes & it's delicous.

Overstock.com said it was refurbished, but it looks brand new. Also, this appliance was about 1/2 the price of any I could find in stores (electric pressure cookers are difficult to find) and any other sites I checkd out on line.

What a wonderful discovery pressrure cooking is. The recipes we have cooked so far come out wonderfully moist and delicious. The pressure cooker reduces cooking time by more than half and of course reduces energy use as well. The Wolfgang Puck cooker is easy to use and easy to clean. The digital readout on the the front makes it easy to select cooking times. When cooking is over the keep warm feature keeps food warm until the rest of the meal is ready. We are extremely happy with this purchase.

This is the second one I bought. The first was defective and had to return it. I debated about trying this product again, but I am SO GLAD I DID!!! I LOVE IT!!! I have used it for a number of different things and am amazed at how well it performs. I think I'm going to have to buy one for my daughter's birthday now, because I know she will love it as much as I do. I don't have much countertop space in my kitchen, but this piece of equipment has definitely earned it's spot!!!

This is the easiest pressure cooker that I've ever used. It is amazing. Clean up is simple. If there are left overs it has an insert with a lid that can go staight to the fridge.

I purchased this pressure cooker as a christmas gift for my husband. He has used it almost every day since the day after christmas. Food turns out excellent in it, four hour warming feature is a big plus and so far, he has not had any trouble with it. Great buy, thanks Overstock.

This product is everything I expected. Cooking is fast and food is delicious. This pressure cooker is easy to use and cleanup is a snap. This will take the place of my slo-cooker.

I purchased this and used it right away for a beef stew. I read the recipe book and adapted one to fit what I was trying to cook. I used the meat setting, it cooked for 20 minutes and came out perfect. My unit looked new event hough it was refurbished. I was very pleased and would recommend this product.

Bought this pressure cooker a couple of months ago. It had no missing parts and looked brand new. I had purchased Bob Warden's pressure cooker cook book from QVC as a complement. The cooker is easy to use even for a newbie and works like a dream! Beans, ribs, soups and pot roast all have come out yummy in less than half the time! I found that I prefer a higher temperature for browning meats so I do that on the stove and transfer it to the cooker. You can't go wrong with this one. Perfect size for a family of 1-4 people. I am single so I adjust recipes accordingly and now I don't mind eating the leftovers. A must have for any busy person who enjoys home cooked comfort foods.
