Excellent
I ordered this product wanting a fryer that would keep the heat up when in use. This exceeds all expectations. I load it full and it just keeps on frying. The timer is a little confusing to turn off but once you figure that out it fry's like a pro. I love this product. Thank you Overstock you have not let me down again. I will be back. You are the first i always check when shopping online and i will continue to do so.

Fryer is okay
I definately would not pay more than the Overstock.com price. The controls are directly above the steam vent making it awkward to use without burning yourself. Plan on using some type of riser to place the fryer on next to your sink to use the drain feature. The frying process is good though and the oil heats quickly and stays at a constant temperature.

Excellent frying results
This fryer replaced a 30 year old model we had. I looked at so many before deciding on this one it was hard to choose. Now that we've had a chance to use it, change the oil and clean it I am extremely happy with this model. It's deeper, heats up faster and is easier to drain than my old fryer.

LOVE this fryer!!!
I am a mother of a 1 year old, and a wife. We have a small family, but occasionally entertain and I wanted a fryer that could handle our small meals and larger affairs. After returning a deep fryer that I received as a gift that was smaller than I wanted, I researched fyers available on the internet and found the refurbished version of Wolfgang Puck's fryer. I always spend a lot of time comparing and evaluating reviews on products, and I feel that this was a fantastic purchase. The price and the quality are great! Despite it being refurbished and hearing that the controls were confusing, I bought it anyway (and the added warranty, just to be safe) and I'm so happy that I did! LET ME TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM! I have made chicken Parmesan, French fries, donuts, and some frozen appetizers...And all have turned out perfectly! I read the manual first and it's very clear. I didn't find the controls confusing. Everything works like a dream and clean up is a breeze! I love the draining system. I just wish that it had a container that you could simply cover with a lid and refrigerate, rather than moving oil in and out, but draining the oil certainly helps to keep it clean, which I love! The basket is plenty large enough (cooked five sliced potatoes into fries), spattering has not been a problem, it heats up quickly and regains temperature fast. I would buy it for a friend and would buy it again. In my opinion...buy it! You won't be disappointed! THANK YOU OVERSTOCK!

This is a great product
I got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he loved it! The settings are hard to understand if you don't read the manual like him, but it cooked everything great and cleans up like a charm!

Product received didn't match product advertized
At first I was extremely excited when FedEx rang my bell & I got my box and then when I opened it,I was so disappointed.Not only was it not the brand that I ordered, it didn't even have the main feature that I was longing for. I'm gonna pay to send it back but worst of all I had a special dinner planned & was unable to make it because I didn't have the correct appliance. Not sure if I'll be ordering on-line with overstock anymore.

great fryer!
I have owned deep fryers for many years and have owned several. There is a BIG difference in quality and performance. When my older fryer "died" I replaced it with another that did not perform well. It had to GO!! I then searched for the WGP digital with oil drain to find a fryer that would get hot hot and maintain the temp. I am VERY pleased with the Wolfgang Puck 4 liter Fryer. Product was refurb ,but appeared as new. Price was very good and of course Overstock has the best customer service in case of problems.

Fryer is a great size and heats quickly
Received the product on Friday evening and it didn't work. Had to wait until Monday when WP was open to assist with getting the unit operating again. Also, the owner's manual was greasy and nasty as was some of the parts. I figured the refurbished unit would, at least, be cleaned for shipment and a new manual be put in if the old one was damaged. I don't have a problem with refurbished units, but don't think I'll get one from WP again.

not very happy with product
I was very displeased with these wolf gang deepfries.. i do have to say your promptness of my returns were wonderful .. customer service agents very friendly and helpful . my free return label came in my email within a few seconds . your company is wonderful but the products were not so much
