I ordered this product wanting a fryer that would keep the heat up when in use. This exceeds all expectations. I load it full and it just keeps on frying. The timer is a little confusing to turn off but once you figure that out it fry's like a pro. I love this product. Thank you Overstock you have not let me down again. I will be back. You are the first i always check when shopping online and i will continue to do so.

I definately would not pay more than the Overstock.com price. The controls are directly above the steam vent making it awkward to use without burning yourself. Plan on using some type of riser to place the fryer on next to your sink to use the drain feature. The frying process is good though and the oil heats quickly and stays at a constant temperature.

This fryer replaced a 30 year old model we had. I looked at so many before deciding on this one it was hard to choose. Now that we've had a chance to use it, change the oil and clean it I am extremely happy with this model. It's deeper, heats up faster and is easier to drain than my old fryer.

I am a mother of a 1 year old, and a wife. We have a small family, but occasionally entertain and I wanted a fryer that could handle our small meals and larger affairs. After returning a deep fryer that I received as a gift that was smaller than I wanted, I researched fyers available on the internet and found the refurbished version of Wolfgang Puck's fryer. I always spend a lot of time comparing and evaluating reviews on products, and I feel that this was a fantastic purchase. The price and the quality are great! Despite it being refurbished and hearing that the controls were confusing, I bought it anyway (and the added warranty, just to be safe) and I'm so happy that I did! LET ME TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM! I have made chicken Parmesan, French fries, donuts, and some frozen appetizers...And all have turned out perfectly! I read the manual first and it's very clear. I didn't find the controls confusing. Everything works like a dream and clean up is a breeze! I love the draining system. I just wish that it had a container that you could simply cover with a lid and refrigerate, rather than moving oil in and out, but draining the oil certainly helps to keep it clean, which I love! The basket is plenty large enough (cooked five sliced potatoes into fries), spattering has not been a problem, it heats up quickly and regains temperature fast. I would buy it for a friend and would buy it again. In my opinion...buy it! You won't be disappointed! THANK YOU OVERSTOCK!

I got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he loved it! The settings are hard to understand if you don't read the manual like him, but it cooked everything great and cleans up like a charm!

Got my Wolfgang Puck fryer, and I am impressed. It's everything Wolfgang described in the HSN promo spots. Tasty, perfect, delightful, non-greasy, food all at your fingertips. Easy assembly. Digital control wasn't difficult at all. I love how it tells you how hot your oil is, and beeps once it gets to your desired temp. I had been apprehensive about ordering it because I don't care for refurbished items. Couldn't find one brand new, so I took the chance. I'm glad I did. You MUST get this deep fryer!!!

I bought this deep fryer for my husband and he absolutely loved it. He made chicken wings and sweet potato chips the other night and they came out perfect everytime. Love the timer feature. Much better than our previous fryer. This is an excellent deep fry for a great price.

I bought this deep fryer for my wife on our anniversary. She wanted one but all the small deep fryers at the local department stores were too small and really took too long to fry up a meal of fried chicken. The Wolfgang Puck deep fryer was all she wanted in a kitchen fryer. From the very first day she opened it she has been using it almost every night. The first night she made some biscuit donuts...which were excellent by-the-way! The night after she used it to fry frozen french fries...and finally she cooked her fried chicken. All came out perfect. I believe we got a terrific deal because we saved money by buying a refurbished unit. I was a little concerned but I knew that Overstock.com backs their products very well. I would highly recommend the Wolfgang Puck 4-liter deep fryer to anyone who is contemplating buying a home deep frying unit.

At first I was extremely excited when FedEx rang my bell & I got my box and then when I opened it,I was so disappointed.Not only was it not the brand that I ordered, it didn't even have the main feature that I was longing for. I'm gonna pay to send it back but worst of all I had a special dinner planned & was unable to make it because I didn't have the correct appliance. Not sure if I'll be ordering on-line with overstock anymore.

I have owned deep fryers for many years and have owned several. There is a BIG difference in quality and performance. When my older fryer "died" I replaced it with another that did not perform well. It had to GO!! I then searched for the WGP digital with oil drain to find a fryer that would get hot hot and maintain the temp. I am VERY pleased with the Wolfgang Puck 4 liter Fryer. Product was refurb ,but appeared as new. Price was very good and of course Overstock has the best customer service in case of problems.

Received the product on Friday evening and it didn't work. Had to wait until Monday when WP was open to assist with getting the unit operating again. Also, the owner's manual was greasy and nasty as was some of the parts. I figured the refurbished unit would, at least, be cleaned for shipment and a new manual be put in if the old one was damaged. I don't have a problem with refurbished units, but don't think I'll get one from WP again.

I was very displeased with these wolf gang deepfries.. i do have to say your promptness of my returns were wonderful .. customer service agents very friendly and helpful . my free return label came in my email within a few seconds . your company is wonderful but the products were not so much

This was a great buy. I know it said it was refurbished but it looks brand new. If you are looking for a good quality deep fryer I would recommend this for you!

The first day that i got it i made fries and they came out crispy and they were so good. The second day i made tortilla chips and the came out just right i love this fryer it dont even take that long to heat and your food is done faster with this fryer. If you planing on buying one get it i recommend it. Thanks Overstock.

i love this fryer, i bought my son one when he moved out, he said he probably would have starved without it (LOL) fried chick and french fries ,he can and did live off them for a while

It fries nicely, but it is difficult to clean and store. Better off with a pot of grease on the stove.
