    Hello, I'd like to use this piece as a cabinet base for a built-in shelf in my office. Does the 1-inch thick worktop with a durable melamine surface come preinstalled on this cabinet or does it need to be attached? I'm asking this question because instead on the melamine surface, I would like to put a piece of natural wood on top instead. Is this possible or does the cabinet come with the top already preinstalled? Thank you!  on Jun 25, 2012
