What a nice unit! Great for basement!!!
I bought this item for my basement. Musty smell is completely gone for this unit. I don`t think this is a big unit, but It`s really strong and also affordable!!! I would recommend this dehumidifier!!

Cool little unit

I know there are mixed reviews on this but i took the plunge and purchased it- i have no problems with this dehumidifier. i was very happy about the value savings I got on this. When i researched the price through other sites it was double or more. The machine has worked well thus far and I plan on buying a warranty to cover it for 1 year - more than the 90 daysit comes with - online through *** I say go for it!

continuous drain does not work
I may have to come back to the site and revisit my rating. So far, the unit works reat, but I have the gravity drain hose hooked up and it is not working properly. I hae had to empty the bucket since I started using the unit. In addition, I have had another dehumidifier that has the bucket in the front, and this is much easier to empty.

Works great once you understand it.
I would have given this product 5 stars except for a few minor things. The manua that came with the product did not fully describe the operations so it took me several days to experiment with it to figure out why it does what. I have this hooked up withe pump to automatically drain the tank. On first installation the unit would stop after about 6 hours. Nothing happened so I checked the tank (full). I kept playing with it and finally the pump came on. After the tank was emptied the unit did mot start and so I played with it again. If finally came on. Left alone I noticed that there is a long wait time between functions when the unit stops. The humidity setting is off by about 10% (another humidity meter). I found this out the hard way when the unit stopped and the tank had about 1 inch of water, the humidity set at 60% and my humidity meter said 69%. After a while the unit would come on for about 30 minutes and then shut off. Like the heading says, it works great once you understand it. No more tending of the humidifier.
