were advertised as large red wine glasses when actually they are merely ordinary sized. Bowl is too small for bold reds.

We bought these for a present for the best man for our wedding. He is a wine enthusiast and really wanted new wine glasses without the stem. Once again, Overstock.com was a perfect site for me to find a gift! The description was accurate not to mention the fast shipping. This is a great gift idea for sure!!

The glasses are very nice. Perfect for the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. Now I have glasses that won't be tipped over and broken.

I love these wine glasses. They are quality, lightweight glass with the wider bottom which makes them perfect for red wines. Ideal for everyday use as I won't feel bad if I break one for the price.

The rims were thicker than I would like, but I guess that makes them more durable. The are good quality, and met my expectations. The engraving is a nice feature. The size is good, and they make good red wine glasses.

These are beautiful and work for reds or whites. We bought them to use on our pontoon boat because we hate paper and plastic, and stems were not safe in the cup holders. These exactly fit in our cup holders and no more risk of broken glass on the boat. Light, feel like crystal and the wine tastes great from them. I'll buy more for the house.

Because it was glassware, I was concerned about breakage. However they were very well packed and arrived in excellent condition. They were for my daughter and she was very pleased with them. Thank you for the care in shipping and packing. I will not hesitate to buy from you again. Diane

These glasses are beautiful. The stem is long and the bowl of the glass is perfect. They are good for white or red wine. I am very, very pleased with these wine glasses. I know when we have company, they will comment on these glasses. I am thinking of ordering another set. Just the right weight, yet not too delicate like some other high end wine glasses that I have. You won't be disappointed.

I've been searching for the "right" wine glasses for months now to fill up my new wine glass holder. I found these glasses by chance on Overstock and proceeded to order the red wine glasses and then the hiball glasses too! They are very classy and very well made. In fact, I will be ordering more glasses to fill up my wine glass holder!

Though I would love to have and use Riedel wine glasses, I have found that the cost and occasional breakage is not a good option for me. The Luigi Bormiioli 16.25 oz. glasses are a perfect size for both red and white wine and feel very balanced in the hand. They have survived a couple of 20 person wine parties and everyday use. A good value for a lovely wine glass.

If you are looking for a large red wine glass that you would find in a higher end restaurant, then you don't have to look any further! Thought they were a little too big at first - just watch your pour - but probably because my last set were so small. These are very durable - I actually did put them in the dishwasher the first time. I have hand washed since just because I want to preserve these glasses forever!

I purchased these glasses to have a larger set for drinking red wines. The first set arrived damaged (most likely before they were shipped, because the shipping materials were adequate and undamaged). Overstock very quickly shipped a replacement set which was in perfect shape. BTW this is one reason why I never hesitate to buy from Overstock -- they ALWAYS stand behind their products and work to get any problems resolved as quickly as possible. The wine glasses are indeed durable so far (they've been washed in the dishwasher several times), which is surprising considering they have a more narrow stem. They work well for red wines and have a classic look. I'm pleased with the style, durability and price.

I feel this was a good deal for the price. I wanted to have extra wine glasses for when company comes over. I have some fancier wine glasses with the stem which I love but they are not always as practical as they are much easier to knock over especially when you are having a crowd that includes kids! These are practical and are the right size and shape for drinking red wine. I really like them and would recommend them. I didnt really need all twelve so I split them with my niece, which made it even nicer.
